In 2025, it's the 3rd year as a private tour guide. I speak English and German a little. My hobbies are knitting, handicrafts of earrings and keychains, writing & reading novels in Japanese, and searching for good cafes. Next year, I'm about starting to garden for vegetables and harbs. The main place of a tour is Nagasaki city, including the war hisotory spots. I'd like to guide you to the cities of Sasebo, Saikai, and Unzen, too, if you hope. But I don't have a driving lisence, so transport while your tour is necessary. I'm good at a family tour for your young kids, too. I like kids, so I'd like to suggest some ideas for their playing in the Nagasaki prefecture.

Hi there, I'm Yuki. Originally from Tokyo, moved to Goto islands , Nagasaki in 2019. I'm a christian (protestant), and that brought me to live here, the island with the history of Japanese hidden christians. I'm passionate with meeting new people from different backgrounds, which is why I have multiple types of businesses(a mucician, a chef, a spearfisher, an interpreter, and a guide). I'm probably a typical islander who is easygoing, relaxing, and enjoy doing multiple things based on the random things happening in this island. Before we settled down here, my wife and I have traveled over 30 countries for 2 years with a crowdfunded project. I'm also a learner of multiple languages, Italian (conversational), Spanish and Korean(novice). I try to be as flexible as possible, based on guests' requests. I could guide other than Goto, but in that case I would have to ask guests to cover my transportations fee(as you may not know, from/to Goto islands-Nagasaki city, it takes 1-3 hours by ferry or airplane. 30000 yen for round trip.) I am fascinated by the rich history and culture of the city of Nagasaki and the surrounding area and I take great pleasure in introducing people to what is one of the most unique locations in the world. As a resident of Nagasaki for over 40 years and a professor at a university, I have had decades of experience guiding foreign guests around the city and other locations near the city. “Awesome Hidden Christians tour and great guide ”
We had a great time in the Hirado area. Beautiful scenery to go along with the sad history of the Hidden Christians. Hiro was a great guide for this area. He started out with a great itinerary. But he was very flexible in adapting to our specific requests, which made for a very challenging and packed itinerary. The biggest challenge was the logistics. Hiro made it work. He carefully planned the logistics ahead of time and kept us on schedule. And he added tremendous insight based on his knowledge of the region, the people and history. We can't recommend Hiro and the Hirado area tour of the Hidden Christian sites enough. Thanks for everything. We had a great and fulfilling time.

Hi Eddie & Nolena, Thank you very much for the great review of my tour of Hirado & Ikitsuki. I really appreciated it. Normally, this tour will be a one-day tour, but Hirado & Ikitsuki area is far from big city like Nagasaki and Sasebo, so it will be rushed sometimes if I cover many places in this area. You provided me 2 days and accommodation in Hirado, so I could do the tour very effectively and completed your requested places in this area. And also I could take you to the 26 martyrs related place in my hometown, too. It is not on the list, but I wanted you to visit there. Both of you are very eager to visit and understand Hidden-Christian history and local culture, so I tried to explain and introduce them as much as I could. As for the UNESCO-designated Hidden Christian World Heritage sites, we saw and visited 2 of 12, such as Nakaeno-shima, Kasuga community & Mt. Yasuman. There are 10 more UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites in this area. If you have another opportunity to visit them in the future, please let me know. Best regards, Hero

“Great Guide, Great Tour ”
Sho is a great guide. He had a very good plan for sites but was very flexible in adapting to our specific tour objectives. Sort of like having a very knowledgeable local friend to take you to the best places.
