I'm a local guide of Gifu, Nagoya and Aichi, but I can guide you around Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Kanazawa, Takayama and Shiga if you pay my transportation fee.
I am Yuriko from Gifu Prefecture. I was an assistant English teacher at junior high school. I started to work as a National Certificate tour guide in 2019.
I'm very interested in kimono, tea ceremony and Japanese castles. I sometimes guide in kimono. There are so many nice places to visit in Gifu and Nagoya! I also guide around Takayama, Shirakawago, Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and Kanazawa if you pay my transportation fee from my hometown. Let's enjoy Japan with me!

“A special day in Kyoto”
We had the pleasure of spending a day in Kyoto with Yuriko as our guide, and it was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Japan. Yuriko was an absolutely delightful guide—warm, incredibly sweet, and always obliging. She went out of her way to accommodate our group’s specific needs, making thoughtful adjustments to the itinerary so everything ran smoothly and comfortably. Yuriko was exceptionally attentive throughout the day and brought each location to life with her deep knowledge of Kyoto’s history and culture. She guided us through the stunning Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and the serene Tenryuji Temple, and also arranged a special afternoon experience—a Maiko performance—which was a real treat. Everything about the tour felt seamless, well-paced, and personal. Yuriko crafted a truly memorable day for us in Kyoto, and we look back on it as one of the fondest memories of our entire Japan vacation. Highly recommended!

Dear David, Thank you so much for an excellent review and such a wonderful and positive words! I'm so impressed to read your kind words. I also had a special day in Kyoto with you and your nice family. Especially, it was fun memories for me to make paper cranes with your cute kids at a cozy cafe and to talk with your beautiful mother while you enjoyed boat riding in Katsura River in Arashiyama. There are other beautiful places to visit in Japan, such as Takayama and Shirakawago Village in Gifu or Nagoya, central Japan where is a birthplace of three major Samurai, Nobunaga Oda, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, and SHOGUN, Ieyasu Tokugawa. Please come to Japan again! I hope we will meet again somday in the future! Your guide, Yuriko(Lily)

“Great Job from Yuriko San”
We really appreciate the patience of Yuriko San to wait for our ship’s arrival since it was delayed due to foggy weather. We also enjoyed her knowledge about Nagoya and her company. We had a great time with her.

“If there is one thing that you must do in Nagoya is book Yuriko for your guide.”
We had a fantastic day out with Yuriko, she escorted us to all the sites we wanted to see and also modified her tour to accommodate our requests. Her knowledge of all the places we visited was exceptional. I don’t think we could have seen so much without her expertise. She knew all the spots for photos of all the main attractions, most of them we would not have found without her. Thank you for a wonderful day it was a pleasure to meet you and an unforgettable day in Nagoya, all the best for the future and thank you so much for your gift it was beautiful, Tony and Janet.
