I will take you to Tosho-Gu Shrine and Rinno-Ji Temple in Nikko. Tosho-Gu was built about 400 years ago to worship Ieyasu Tokugawa who started Edo Period. It has just renovated as it was in early Edo period where you can see many beautiful buildings with carvings of animals such as the three monkeys and the sleeping cat. Rinno-Ji was established in 766 and combined with Tosho-Gu until 150 years ago. We will use a express train to Nikko and a bus there.

We will take an express train from Kitasenju station to Tobu Nikko station (about 3,000 JPY per adult)

Taiyu-In of Rinno-Ji Temple; The temple for Iemitsu Tokugawa, who was the third Shogun. (Admission: 550 JPY per adult)

About Tour Guide Yuki K.
I was born and grew up in Yokohama. I used to work in Tokyo for more than 20 years. I became the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in English in 2013. At first, I had attended a volunteer group which provided a tour of the Imperial Palace East Gardens until 2015. I guided more than fifty times in the garden as a volunteer and studied about Japanese history and culture. Based on this experience, I became a tour guide of this online site in 2015.
Since then, I have guided more than 500 tours in Tokyo as well as Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Kyoto, Nikko, etc., while improving my tours. My tours are very flexible and I always do my best to customize them according to the interests of my guests. “Wonderful Day in Tokyo”
Yuki met us at our cruise ship terminal and had the entire day planned. Riding the autonomous Metro afforded great views of Tokyo especially sitting in the front row. Then to the top of Shibuya Tower which was quite a way to see the entire city. Walking around with Yuki was a pleasure as he educated us about the city and way of life in Tokyo. Next time we visit we will surely contact Yuki again as there is so much to see and do.

Nikko walking tour (The world heritage site and hidden treasure spots)
Experience the most personalized guided tour in Nikko, where I will meet you at JR Utsunomiya station or Tobu Nikko station. We'll take the bus to Tamozawa Imperial Villa Memorial Park.
