After arriving at JR Utsunomiya station, your guide will take you to Nikko National Park and World Heritage Site. On the way to Nikko, we'll pass through an avenue lined with Japanese cedars. This avenue is recorded as the longest tree lined avenue in the Guinness Book of World Records. We will see Yunoko Lake in Yumoto area and also enjoy "Ashiyu" or foot bathing. We'll visit the Yutaki Waterfall, the Ryuzu Waterfall, and the Kegon Waterfall. Around Chuzenji Lake, we'll spend some time at the Italian Embassy Villa memorial park. Lunch will be at Chuzenji Lake or Sannai area. Our last visit will be the Toshogu-Shrine.

Jack is a very experienced guide who is very fluent in English. He is very knowledgeable with rich cultural and historical details to share throughout the trip. Jack is also very sensitive to my tour mate’s and my needs. Very engaging and comfortable to spend the day to Nikko with Jack. I especially enjoyed the details he shared at various tour sites, which is something that we will never know if we tour on our own. We had a very nice day at Nikko, thanks to the arrangements by Jack. Jack speaks very good English, and his arrangement of booking and driving a rental car (covered by this fee) made transportation around for the trip quick and simple. And it was a chilly day, so we were most grateful for this. Jack showed us the highlights of the impressive Toshogu shrine, and then to a delicious soba restaurant for lunch, before driving us to the beautiful Churenji lake. We then visited 2 very different falls - Ryuzu and Kegon falls. Breathtaking! We requested a relaxed pace and a mix of highlights of Toshogu shrine with some nature, and Jack delivered that wonderfully. Jack san, ありがとうございました!

“Greedy” tour (& Jack) were absolutely amazing! With Jack’s guidance, we were able to see so many wonderful things in just one day - mountains, lakes, waterfalls, snow, monkeys, shrines, temples, Imperial Villa… Also worked in an terrific lunch (Soba). Jack’s English is impeccable. He’s very knowledgeable. Engaging and humorous. it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. My wife and I HIGHLY recommend you spend your day in Nikko with Jack!
