About Tour Guide Rina K.
Welcome to Osaka!
Hi I'm Rina! Osaka is my hometown, and I’m so excited to guide you here!
I started tour guiding in July 2025, and since then I’ve welcomed guests from Australia, the U.S., Thailand, Germany, Russia, Switzerland, and more.
Each tour has left me with special memories—it’s always a pleasure to hear stories about your country.
I also learn a lot from my guests. Some are fascinated by architecture, others love taking photos of food samples, or notice details like manhole designs, women-only train cars, or even the British accent in station announcements. What feels ordinary to me often becomes a fresh discovery for my guests, and those exchanges make every tour truly special.
Osaka is full of delicious restaurants—so many that it’s hard to choose! Let’s explore local food together, find the best sunset and night-view spots, and enjoy the city’s charm side by side.
Join me to discover Osaka, from its iconic castle to the latest must‑see spots.
And if you’d like, we can combine Osaka with day trips to Nara, Kyoto, Kobe, or Shiga to experience even more of Kansai’s beauty.
Looking forward to seeing you in Osaka!

“A truly caring and professional guide in Osaka – highly recommended!”
We were extremely fortunate to have Rina as our guide in Osaka. She is kind, professional, patient, and truly dedicated to her work. Originally, Rina had planned a full-day sightseeing tour for us, but unfortunately both my husband and I caught the flu and were unable to visit attractions. Instead, Rina devoted her day to helping us with all the practical matters of our trip — and she did it with remarkable care. She accompanied me to Osaka Station and patiently helped us buy all the train tickets for our entire Japan itinerary. She translated everything clearly, checked the train schedules, and made sure we got the correct tickets. Later, she took us to a pharmacy, helped us choose the most suitable medicines, and even found a convenient 7-Eleven currency exchange machine when we needed to exchange money — explaining everything in English so the process went smoothly. When she asked what else we needed, I mentioned we’d like to buy some local snacks, and she brought us to several popular shops that locals love, explaining each product with enthusiasm and insight. Even though we couldn’t go sightseeing, thanks to Rina we experienced something even more meaningful — the warmth, kindness, and professionalism of the Japanese people through her. Her English is excellent (she also teaches English part-time), and it was a joy to spend the day with her. We look forward to returning to Osaka someday, feeling much better, and having Rina guide us again — this time for a full and unforgettable Osaka tour. Thank you so much, Rina!

Hi Hans and Sharon, Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful comment. I’m truly glad to hear the tour was helpful, especially during such a challenging time. It was my pleasure to assist with the tickets, pharmacy visit, currency exchange, and shopping for your husband—I sincerely hope you two are feeling better now. Please continue to take good care of yourselves, and I wish you both a safe, relaxing, and joyful journey ahead through Hiroshima, Kyoto, Nara, and beyond. It was an honor to be part of your day. Next time, let’s enjoy a full day of sightseeing—Osaka Castle, Dotonbori, and many other wonderful places waiting to be explored! Thank you and warm regards, Rina

Walk one of World Heritage Kumano-Kodo trails "Choishi-michi" which is nearest to Osaka and Kyoto. It is an antient access way to Koyasan fonded by the great monk Kukai. Its name is coming from the 180 stupas (Choishi) stand along the trail, which people have been prayed to. The total distance is 22km, takes roughly 7 hours without transportation/rest if you have good physical ability. The trail mostly keeps its original style when opened.
