“Friendly and knowledgeable Kyoto guide”
Leo is very friendly and outgoing. He speaks very good English. He planned an efficient tour around the key sights in Kyoto for our multigenerational family group. He was knowledgeable about the sites, and we also enjoyed getting to know Leo and learning more about Japanese life from his perspective.

“Leo went above and beyond”
We really appreciate that Leo accommodated our specially tailored tour of Japanese megalith mysteries in the Asuka region. He made time to research the places we wanted to see and had a back up plan for wet weather. Leo is a fun guide, very comfortable in English conversations and made sure we were safe for the duration of the tour. We’re especially grateful that he went the extra mile by driving us throughout the day, which made the experience much more comfortable and efficient. His flexibility, thoughtful planning, and genuine enthusiasm made the tour not only smooth but truly enjoyable. Thanks to Leo, we were able to explore these unique and fascinating sites without stress and with a deeper understanding of their history and mystery.

Osaka Off the Guidebook: A Hidden Gem Even Locals Recommend!
Just have fun eating Okonomiyaki and sipping sake with Osaka local people! I’ll be your translator so you can ask anything when we socialize with Japanese guests at the same restaurant. If you don’t prefer Okonomiyaki, no problem—I can recommend Takoyaki, Ramen, or Kushikatsu, and even arrange a visit to an Izakaya-style restaurant. After dinner, we’ll stroll through a lively local shopping street, where you can explore hidden gems, discover unique shops, and soak up the everyday life of Osaka.

Sacred mountain trekking at Mt. Miwa
O-miwa Shrine is known to be the oldest shrine in Japan and Japanese Shinto. Mt. Miwa stands just behind O-miwa Shrine because it is the sacred mountain as well as the object of worship, which is said to be reserving the primitive style of Japanese Shinto and Shrine.

Kumano-Kodo Choishi-michi/One day tour
Walk one of World Heritage Kumano-Kodo trails "Choishi-michi" which is nearest to Osaka and Kyoto. It is an antient access way to Koyasan fonded by the great monk Kukai. Its name is coming from the 180 stupas (Choishi) stand along the trail, which people have been prayed to. The total distance is 22km, takes roughly 7 hours without transportation/rest if you have good physical ability. The trail mostly keeps its original style when opened.
