“The kindest and heartwarming guide ever! ”
When we were planning our trip to Japan and looking for guides, Take really stood out for us. He took our budget into account and customized a day tour for us. It was easy to communicate with him before our arrival and on the day of our tour. We were traveling by a cruise liner so we had limited time and Take took that into consideration. On the day of our arrival we were blown away. Take had prepared everything for us. Take told us that he used to work before as a teacher and it shows. He was punctual and enjoyed talking about his hometown Shimizu. He prepared a fun quiz for us and told us everything we need to know about the history of Shimizu. The tour went smooth. Take took us to many beautiful spots and explained us everything if we had any questions. For us was really important to get a local experience and Take made that happen. Another really important point was that we wanted to try local food and Take made sure to learn our likes and dislikes so in the end of the tour we got to eat tasty local food to our liking. We also were collecting stamps around Japan on our trip and we told Take about this on our day of arrival and he made sure to ask every spot if they have a stamp point! Thank you so much Take-san, hopefully we will meet again. ありがとうございます

“Nice tour and tea ceremony”
Take took us to the nicest places of our choice. The tea session was an experience by itself. He was very informative and patient. I definitely recommend him.

“Excellent Introduction to Shimizu”
We came into Shimizu via the Diamond Princess cruise. This was our first visit to Japan and Shimizu. Take was very responsive and pleasant during the planning phase and made contact a day before our tour. He took great care to make sure the tour met our needs. Take is a Shimizu native and is a great historian of this port city. This was an educational tour and we learned so much about Shimizu on this tour. We loved our tour with Take and felt we made a new friend by the time the tour was finished.

Mt. Fuji in Fujinomiya and Shiraito watefalls
Mt. Fuji can be seen from Tokyo, but if you feel the real size and its atmosphere as well as the value, you should definitely visit this area. I am mainly guiding for the cruise ship passengers for shore excursion, but it is possible to pick you up at a JR station (Shizuoka and Shin-Fuji).
