The exact tour dates may vary, but I’ll do my best to schedule them on days when cruise ships are in port.

“Shimizu stunning & fun”
We’re so glad we found Go with Guide and our tour guide Take. He deserves an A* for his expertise and kindness on our recent visit to your prefecture. Besides visiting the marine museum, seeing where Ocha grows and learning about 3 different types of tea and getting to taste hot tea at the shop, Shinto Shrine & viewing Fujiyama Taje was so thoughtful to share snacks, tea & writing a personalized postcard with each of our names in Kanji. Take has a good way of being organized, prepared & guiding the tourists to leave with more information. We all had a wonderful day with Take. We took 3 tours on our recent trip but would suggest this tour esp if leaving from the cruise port is easy and Take met and returned us to where our ship was docked.

“Highlights in Shimizu mit Take”

“Great Day in Shimizu Port/Shizuoka City”
We had a wonderful day with Take san, who provided us an insightful tour of Shimizu. Our day included the Miho no Matsubara Pine Groves and the history behind this UNESCO World Heritage site, a visit to the Nihondaira Yume Terrace, which provided incredible views of Mt. Fuji, as well as the Nihondaira Tea Pavilion. We also had a short stop in a shopping area for us to purchase additional Shimizu teas. Take san was passionate about sharing his knowledge and showing us the sights and sounds of Shizuoka City. We saw Mt. Fuji from different viewpoints, which made the tour all the more magically. Mt. Fuji in Fujinomiya and Shiraito watefalls
Mt. Fuji can be seen from Tokyo, but if you feel the real size and its atmosphere as well as the value, you should definitely visit this area. I am mainly guiding for the cruise ship passengers for shore excursion, but it is possible to pick you up at a JR station (Shizuoka and Shin-Fuji).

Mt. Fuji is one of the national icons of Japan that most of foreign travelers adore. This tour is mainly focused on passengers of cruise ship docking in Shimizu port, but if you want to visit Shizuoka, it is worth visiting. I will guide you using my private car (TOYOTA Corolla Cross). All the cost is included in the tour price. If you want to see Mt. Fuji, never miss to visit Shimizu or Shizuoka.
