Hikawa Maru Cruise
Hikawa Maru was a passenger and cargo ship built by NYK in 1930 for the Seattle route. The Hikawa Maru, which was completed against this backdrop, became the most advanced ship of the time. During the war, the ship became a special hospital ship for the navy. It survived three mine strikes until the end of the war, and was restored to a passenger and cargo ship after the war, returning to the Seattle route in 1953. Hikawa Maru was decommissioned when it reached 30 years old. During its operation, it crossed the Pacific Ocean 254 times, carrying a total of more than 25,000 passengers, and made great contributions to the passenger and cargo industry. After being decommissioned in 1960, the ship was moored in front of Yamashita Park in 1961 for people to visit, and was renamed "NYK Hikawa Maru" and reopened in 2008. As the only remaining passenger and cargo ship built in Japan before the war, the ship truly displays the shipbuilding technology of the time and the interior decoration of the passenger ship. It has been highly regarded as a valuable industrial heritage and was designated as an important cultural property in 2016.

“Great trip highly recommend this company ”
We went on a customized private tour. It turned out to be one of the best decisions. Our tour guide was very helpful and helped us design a great tour plan. The tour was great and we had a blast. Highly recommend this company. My family and I had a great time with the beauty of Mount Fuji and it was all thanks to an excellent driver. He was very patient with us. He also made some suggestions to make the tour more memorable which I really appreciated. The customer service was very responsive, detailed and patient in replying messages. The driver was very punctual, very polite, spoke very good English and the vehicle was very clean. We would rate this experience very highly! We booked a private luxury van for 1 day and it completely met our expectations. Our driver was excellent and very knowledgeable about the area which made our tour very smooth. He always discussed with us the next destination and suggested a few great stops for us to add. He was very polite and considerate and even offered to take photos for us at some of the sights. His time management was very efficient and he picked us up on time and dropped us off at all the stops within 9 hours. We loved the service of this company and being able to customize our itinerary. Thank you for making our stay in Mount Fuji easy, comfortable, and memorable! We will definitely use your company again!
