Hello everyone!
I was born and raised in Kawagoe, a charming historic city located just next to Tokyo in Saitama Prefecture. Two years ago, I graduated from university here in Japan, and I now work as both a tour guide and a study abroad support advisor.
Three years ago, I had the life-changing opportunity to study abroad in Vancouver, Canada. The warmth and hospitality of the locals left a deep impression on me. I discovered the joy of immersing myself in a new culture and way of life, and I truly came to appreciate the beauty of connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.
Now, I want to be the one offering that kind of experience to others. As your guide, my goal is to make your journey in Japan truly special.
Through GoWithGuide, I strive to go beyond typical sightseeing—I want to create meaningful opportunities for you to engage with Japan’s rich culture and traditions on a deeper level.
I’m committed to providing a safe, thoughtful, and unforgettable experience for every guest.
Let’s not just visit Japan—let’s feel Japan.
Join me on this unique journey, and together, let’s discover the heart and soul of this incredible country.
I look forward to meeting you soon!

“I highly recommend this great private tour”
My wife and I had a great private tour with Yoshi, one of Shunta's guides. He was very knowledgeable about the area (grew up in Tokyo), very friendly, and provided a lot of interesting historical and cultural facts about where we were. He also took many photos and videos of us and shared them afterward, which we appreciated and helped preserve our memories! My wife and I did most of the popular tourist locations during our 1st trip several years ago, and so we asked Shunta to create a more off-the-beaten-path tour with lesser-known sites to visit, which turned out to be great.

“Tokyo, 6 hours tour”
Before our tour, we communicated very well with Shunta; he clearly understood our needs and interests for the day. Since he wasn't available, he sent us one of his colleagues who he thought was competent. The young guide was 22 years old, had very little experience, and didn't really know what to do or say. He didn't really take care of us; we constantly had to tell him to slow down. Ultimately, a very disappointing tour for the price.
