Hi I’m a friendly Australian living in Japan for 20 years. I work as a Kindergarten teacher here so I design my tours to be very Family Friendly: stress free for the parents and exciting for the kids. I particularly love to make little packs filled with goodies for the kids so they can experience what Japanese kids do. I want my guests to experience a real Japan and I love teaching Japanese to the little ones. * Children with special needs and/or mobility issues are especially welcomed. I can make accommodations and plan a tour based on their unique needs.

“Day 3 in Tokyo with the best Guide Dan!”
On day 3 we had an evening tour with Dan. Not only did Dan make touring educational for my kids but also made it so much fun! He thought them many Japanese phrases and encouraged them to use them when interacting with the locals. Dan taught us so much about the culture and different neighborhoods in Tokyo. We loved Dan and would 100% recommend him!

“Tokyo Day 2 with Dan”
We had the best experience using Dan as our guide. On day 2 we did a full day which could have been rough on my 11& 13 year old however Dan always made it fun!! We had some places we wanted to see like the temples and shibuya, but Dan always had the kids in mind. We stopped to play in an arcade, stopped for delicious treats on the street and had the best ramen at a place dan said was a Must-eat! Dan had the best energy and positive vibe, I would with out a doubt recommend him!

“Tokyo Day 1 with best guide!”
We had the most amazing experience with Dan as our guide in Tokyo. We were traveling with our 2 kids 11 & 13. Dan kept the kids fully engaged. He made it so fun for them, with scavenger hunts and Japanese treats. Dan took us to tsujiki fish market. It was a great day. He even made using the subway easy! I would definitely recommend Dan as a guide!!
