We had some good luck that day because a traditional Japanese wedding ceremony took place when we went to the shrine, and later, a festival parade took place right in front of us as we left the restaurant.

“Tim D is the bomb!”
This was our first trip to Tokyo and was nervous about navigating transportation. Tim D was a perfect guide for me and my daughter (young adult)-Tim met us at airport and was gracious about our delayed arrival and did a great job teaching us about transportation/finding best route to get to airport next day. He also was great at creating an experience that gave us a taste of nightlife, given we only had a few hours. I'd would completely recommend Tim D. as a guide/companion. Top-notch!

“Thank You Tim”
As a first time international traveler I was not sure what to expect and was nervous about getting my vacation started. I contacted Tim and asked for a custom tour. He met us at the airport, took us to our hotel and then took us to the Asakusa area in Tokyo. Tim had spent the time to go to our hotel the day before and check out the area before we got to Tokyo. Tim showed us around Asakusa and took us to some great places for street food. He took us to places and restaurants that we would have not found on our own. Tim took the time to answer all questions we had, explain the local customs and took pictures of us at the different landmarks. Tim was very knowledgeable and was a lot of fun to be around. Later in our vacation we booked Tim for another tour in Osaka, he spent the evening with us showing us around the Dotonbori area. We had some great street food and learned a lot about the area. I cannot recommend Tim enough, he got our vacation off to a great start, sent us information throughout the week on things we talked about and answered several questions through a messaging app even when we were not on tour. Hanging out with Tim was great and he makes you feel like you have known each other for years. Thank You Tim for getting our vacation off to a great start, showing us around Osaka and just being a great person.
