Randee san, Thank you for your kind review. It’s my pleasure to hear you enjoyed your first day in Japan. We started our tour from your hotel in Asakusa with short briefing for the tour. We used public transportation, subway etc. to visit the Imperial palace, Meiji shrine, Harajuku, and Shibuya. We finished our tour at Ginza, where you can enjoy your free time and shopping and find easy return to your hotel. Your good walking and energy helped me a lot to guide you around our destinations smoothly. Thank you again for your quick searching for our lunch, Smokehouse, an authentic American BBQ restaurant near Harajuku. It was a good restaurant, and I enjoyed real American flavor very much! Regards, Shin

Randee san, Our second day started from one Sumo stable in Ryougoku after enjoying their morning training, face to face collision, Butsukari Geiko. We walked through Sumo Town, Ryougoku, to Sumo Museum in the National Sumo Arina, Kokugikan. We moved to Edo-Tokyo Museum, which reopened this May. I believe Edo-Tokyo Museum is a good place to grasp 400 years’ history and culture of Edo & Tokyo by good exhibits and architectures. We returned to Asakusa, then finished our half day tour. I wish you enjoy your stay in Japan & Korea and bring back beautiful memories to your home. Please keep good condition for your challenge to Mt. Fuji next month. All the best!! Arigatou, Shin

Your detailed requests for destinations and preference to use taxi for our transfer allowed us keeping a relaxed, low-stress pace for our visiting places of Tokyo Tower, Asakusa Sensoji, Tempura Lunch, Boat Cruising, Hamarikyu. On the way back to Shinjuku, we drove around the Imperial palace by taxi, which I hope you could feel the size of it, 5 km one round. Kamakura is the first and oldest Samurai capital in Japan, built more than 800 years ago. Yokohama, Now & Then
Only a 30-minute train ride from Tokyo, you can reach the unique cosmopolitan city of Yokohama. Yokohama has two faces: modern and classical. In this tour you can enjoy a modern life at Minato Mirai 21 and a classical one at Yamate Heights and China town. MM21 is a national project, starting in 1984, to create a new city at its waterfront, suitable for the 21st century. Yamate Heights, an old European settlement on a hill, preserves beautiful European style houses.

Yokohama is extremely a young city. It has only less than 160 years of history.
Yokohama has a fascinating tale of transformation from a small fishing village to the 2nd largest city. Its evolution is particularly notable for how it embraced international trade and modernization. Minato Mirai district is a large urban development. The name reflects its design and purpose as a futuristic city. We will explore how Yokohama has been developed so rapidly in 160 years, watching several historical architectures, etc.
