Hello!My name is Chinami.
I have a national licence as a tour guide. I know well not only the nature of Mt Fuji area, but also history of Mt Fuji as a world cultural heritage site.I like to talk with people from all aver the world.So I want to have great time with you and enjoy local meals, wine, and so on.

Important
I can guide you in Shizuoka(Shimizu) and Nagano if you pay for my transportation fee (and accommodation depending on time a tour starts and where).
If you would like me to pick up in Tokyo, I have to ask you pick up fee as well.
I am available to guide only in Yamanashi and Mt Fuji from May to July.
Also, I have only customized tour in April because it might be hard to complete all sight seeing spots due to peak tourist season.

“Wonderful sites of Lake Kawaguchiko”

“Best tour for lake Kawaguchiko ”
We had the pleasure to visit Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt. Fuji area. Chinami is a wonderful person and we were extremely pleased and impressed with her knowledge and experience. She shared all the information and historical facts about lake Fuji and surroundings. We also learned a bit more about Japanese culture and tradition. She was kind and patient to check for multiple restaurants to suit our restricted dietary habits. We really enjoyed her company. So, I recommend my guests stay overnights in the area. I feel sorry about lunch time become late a bit. I will try to find more options for guests. Please come different seasons again. “Chinami is the BEST!!”
We had 2 half day tours with Chinami. She is so knowledgeable, loves this area, knows about all the culture and picks the best restaurants!! We did a sake brewery tour that is a must do! So fun, the sake guide was great and the sake was absolutely delicious! The Itchiku Kubota Art Museum was beautiful and explained the history of Itchiku Kubota and his art of creating kimono designs. We are a family of 4 from Texas and Chinami was so easy to allow us to change plans and decide our exact design of how we wanted our days to look. I can't express enough what a wonderful woman and human being Chinami is!

My tours might be better with people who LOVE TO WALK, have STAMINA and keen to learn about the culture. Now I live within a walking distance from Ueno Park, Tokyo, so I see a lot of International tourists walking around in my neighborhood every day. (PLEASE CHECK EACH TOUR. The expenses are spelled out, too.) "Tokyo is larger than we thought and the transportations are so complicated," Swedish guys told me. I'm here to help you. I know well about Tokyo, Yokohama, Yamanashi etc. and I travel most of the parts of Japan. I would appreciate if you could see more sightseeing spots with me as your guide and enjoy your stay. I love to answer your questions, even though I became nearly breathless when I was with American guests, a family of three, curiously asking me questions after questions:-) I appreciated their interest in Japan very much. I also go mountain trekking for nearly thirty years. I've been to the summit of Mt. Fuji and Mt. Kitadake three times. Talking about Mt. Takao, maybe more than fifty times.
