Yesterday, I walked in Ueno park while watching cherry blossoms.
It was warm yesterday, and Cherry blossoms at last became fully bloomed .
Let's start from Ueno station. You can go there from Exit 7 or Exit 9.
If you'd like to visit museums first, it is convenient to start from Exit 9.
If you want to do ohanami ( veiwing cherry blossoms), it's better to start from Exit 7.
I found a very nice place for ohanami which is comparatively not so crowded.
Climb up stairs!
You can see beautiful cherry blossoms blooming and many people picknicing , but still you are in a calm circumstance (compartively!).
You can eat and drink there but are not permitted to smoke in the most part of the areas.
From Ueno, you can easily walk to Yanaka where you (especially cat lovers) can enjoy the traditional down-town atmosphere.
