Kagoshima Mt.Sakurajima Experience tour

You can enjoy the active volcano, Mt.Sakurajima thoroughly in this tour. You go to Mt.Sakurajima by a ferry. First, you go to Visitor center to learn about the volcano, if you want you can enjoy hot spring foot bath there, too. Then using a sightseeing bus, you go to a pottery shop to make ash art using colored volcanic ash. After that, you go to an observatory to enjoy the view of the volcano very closely.

-It’s nature, so depending on the situation of the volcano’s activity or weather, it’s possible we cannot go there.
-When it erupts, there may have ash fall, so I’ll advise you to bring a hat or cap, an umbrella if necessary.

From observatories, you could feel its energy and, moreover if you are lucky, it will erupt in front of you!

“Wow of A Day ”
Mikiko is a wonderful guide. Her personality is very warm and engaging. Her flexibility to make changes for her customers was great. Weather conditions on the day weren’t conducive to our planned day, hence plans modified to make a perfect day. We experienced a wonderful day of local Japanese Culture. Later on she kindly assisted me with our further planning in Japan.

“Wonderful day in Kagoshima ”
Mikiko was a kind, great English speaking, fantastic guide for Kagoshima, as a native she knows the city and its sites so well. She was able to make last minute changes to the original plans for our family and explain all sorts of history to us. She had planned our travel perfectly and made sure we made our train back on time. Highly recommend Mikiko as a guide! She was great!!
