The first destination is Chiran Samurai Residences and gardens. Those gardens are nearly 270 years old and open to public now. After having lunch, you have lunch at a local restaurant,we go to Chiran Peace Museum featuring young pilots of Kamikaze Operation in WWⅡ. The last place to visit is a local green tea producer. Let's make your own green tea!

Mikiko is a wonderful guide. Her personality is very warm and engaging. Her flexibility to make changes for her customers was great. She was able to make last minute changes to the original plans for our family and explain all sorts of history to us. You can enjoy the active volcano, Mt.Sakurajima thoroughly in this tour. You go to Mt.Sakurajima by a ferry. First, you go to Visitor center to learn about the volcano, if you want you can enjoy hot spring foot bath there, too.
