You can witness samurai swords, armor, kimonos, etc. You can take a nice photo wearing a samurai helmet. Lake Tazawa is a mysterious Lake and the deepest one in Japan. The golden statue of Tatsuko is a must-see spot in Akita. Please take memorial photos at the shore of Lake Tazawa. We enjoy lunch at Kakunodate town or near Lake Tazawa.

“8-hour Sightseeing tours from Akita Port”
We enjoyed this tour very much. Our driver, 寺門さん(Mr. Terakado) is a nice driver and took nice photos. We first went to Lake Tazawa and drove around it, seeing beautiful cherry blossom, famous Statue of Tatsuko, and Oosawa Mizubasyou Garden. Then we went to Kakunodate Samurai District. Unfortunately, the cherry blossom in the district had been washed away by the rains. Overall, we had a wonderful day.
