“Akira Nailed our Kyoto Custom Tour!”

Akira gave my wife and I the perfect day in Kyoto, a mix of must-see sights along with customizing it for our desire to spend quality time at Arashiyama Monkey Park. He speaks excellent English, was punctual, personable, and polite. He provided excellent details about each of the places we were visiting in a fun, story-telling fashion, not just as a driver, but as a guide who came along with us. We even had bystanders stop us to ask what tour we were on and how to sign up because they overheard and became engaged with Akira's narration. One key advantage to a private tour like this is you can visit places no bus would dare take a large group. We had a fantastic 'locals' sit-on-the-floor lunch experience at Ryoani Temple with great food and an amazing garden view, plus took in the Golden Pavilion, Chikurin bamboo forest (with unique genetically modified bamboo), moss garden, rock garden, and more. His tour was exceptional and I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone to him. Well worth it!

We had an excellent experience with our driver 楠さん(Kusunoki) on our Nara day tour. He was very punctual (arriving early) and professional. The sedan was comfortable, and he accommodated bathroom breaks along the way. Our itinerary included the Mitarai Walking Trail, Dorogawa Onsen Town, and the Limestone Caves. Our driver's kindness and thoughtful service were greatly appreciated, and he helped make our day stress-free. Coordination with TR Taxi was seamless and easy. Highly recommended!
