Kaneo U.
I’m so excited to have a chance to show you around my favorite spots in Kanagawa prefecture. I was born in Kanagawa. I spent my whole school life, including university, here in Kanagawa. I worked as a high school English teacher here for more than 40 years. I love Kanagawa so much. We have many interesting tourist spots, like Hakone, Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama. I got my tour guide license in English in 2009. I am still an English teacher. To give an interesting and impressive lesson to young high school students, I’ve learnt and gathered many kinds of information. I also have a license to teach social studies, so I have a wide range of knowledge about Japanese culture and history. I’m sure to provide you an interesting tour.

Grant A.
My name is Grant, and I’ve spent over a decade living and exploring Japan. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, I first came to Japan as a high school exchange student in Inuyama, a historic castle town in Aichi. My love for Japan began early—sparked by childhood games like Pokémon that were released in Japanese before English. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong passion for Japanese language, culture, and history. I hold an N2 on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, a degree in Asian Studies from a Tokyo university, and I graduated from the Japan Visual Media Translation Academy. I’ve visited all 47 prefectures and explored a wide range of historical sites, shrines, and castles throughout the country. My background in Japanese history helps me provide context that brings depth and meaning to the places we visit—whether it's understanding a centuries-old temple in Kyoto, the story behind a castle ruin, or uncovering the historical layers of a Tokyo neighborhood. If you’re planning to explore Tokyo, here are some tour options to consider: One day in Tokyo? The Ginza Line Tour offers a great introduction to the city’s highlights. Two days? Pair the East Tokyo Tour and West Tokyo Tour to get a well-rounded experience. Interested in anime? The Anime Tour is flexible and can be tailored to match your specific interests. For those looking to go beyond the city, I also offer day trips to Nikko, Kamakura, and other nearby destinations. Full-Day Tour: 40,000 yen (8 hours) Full-Day Tour Outside of Tokyo: 40,000 yen + transportation Feel free to get in touch to plan a tour that fits your interests and travel plans.

Shin N.
Welcome to Japan! I'm Shin. I have been an English Guide in Japan more than10 years. I can guide Tokyo, Kanagawa and almost all metropolitan sightseeing and walking spots. I was born in Kobe, grown up in Osaka, and studied in Kyoto, so not only Tokyo but I also have a good knowledge of Japanese historical cities. I love talking about Japanese food & culture, walking quiet narrow streets, drinking tasty Japanese whisky, Sumo, Rugby & Sports, and Japanese mountains. I climbed Mt. Fuji 18 times with foreign guests. We enjoyed the auspicious moments of sunrising from the summit. I would like to support you to make your stay in Japan memorable and precious one. It is grateful if you refer to my proposed tour schedule, in the case you have your own interests, I am happy to tailor the tour schedule responding your requests. Please feel free to contact me. I look forward to sharing wonderful time in Japan with you. Be my guest!

Ayami M.

Akari U.
Hi, I'm Akari! Your local guide for Kamakura, Enoshima, and Yokohama. Before settling down in beautiful, historical Kamakura, I lived in Tokyo and Yokohama for over 10 years, giving me a deep understanding of both big-city energy and coastal charm—nestled between the ocean and mountains, which I love the most! As I used to teach Japanese, I love bridging cultural gaps and sharing the "Why" behind our customs and traditions. For me, guiding isn't just about hitting the famous sightseeing spots—it's about giving you those "Aha!" moments through our rich history and customs. As a local, I'm obsessed with exploring hidden gems outside the capital. Whether it's a quiet bamboo forest in Kamakura, a stunning sunset spot in Enoshima, or a cozy local cafe and eatery, I can't wait to share my favorite places with you. What I offer: ・Fully customized private tours tailored to your pace, interests, and curiosity. Feel free to send a message. Let’s make your Japan trip unforgettable. See you soon!

“Surf is up in Japan ”
Hiromi is amazing . She meet us promptly at our hotel at 9am and we headed out to our journey to see the beaches of Tokyo. Kamakura and Enoshima was on our agenda . We requested to take the train and still dont know how she navigated it to perfection. We saw the caves and temples. after a quick stop at the Family Mart for egg salad sandwiches per our request. Hiromi is so kind and patient with us . Pointed out all the restroom breaks and helped us stay hydrated with the vending machines and our evian water. We learned the culture on clapping bowing at all the temples and appreciated learning so much about the Japanese culture . Lunch was the best we every had . Home made noodle house Matsubara and Hiromi was very patient when they asked us to sit on the floor. we opted to wait for a table which was fine with Hiromi. Komachi street after for Ice cream. Tsurugaoka shrine and Hiromi got us back to our hotel around 7:30. 20,000 steps and ten miles and memories of a lift time. We started the day as Guests. Ending the day with a new friend . Hiromi will have a special place in our heart when we see the oceans of Japan. Thank you for a wonderful day.

“Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, Kamakura and Hakone ”
Nao was my tour guide for two days. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the history of Japan. When I requested for a customized tour of Hakkeijima and Kamakura, he responded in a timely manner and answered all of my questions. We visited two smaller temples in Kamakura with one temple featuring a beautiful bamboo grove and the other temple had very impressive stone steps covered in moss. I would not have been able to visit these two temples without Nao's assistance. Our visit to Hakone involved using many different modes of transportation and Nao was able to keep us on schedule even though we experienced a train delay due to an electrical problem. I would highly recommend Nao as a tour guide for Tokyo and cities such as Yokohama, Kamakura and Hakone.

Hi, Nan Thank you for a wonderful two days. Even the two temples in Kamakura, which aren't particularly well known, drew many international visitors. We enjoyed matcha tea and sweets. At Hakkeijima, we saw the beluga whale show; we were amazed at how well-trained they were. Hakone was a bit of a challenge from the morning, with long lines for rides. However, we were lucky enough to complete our planned itinerary. You gave me some pickled plums as a gift; they were delicious, and my wife loved them. Thank you so much. Please come to Japan again; I look forward to seeing you. Naoya Usuda
