I can bring you to those popular destinations from my base, Toyama city. These are the examples of my tour: Kanazawa - Shirakawago - Takayama Takaoka - Gokayama - Shirakawago - Takayama Toyama - Tateyama Kurobe Alipne Route - Omachi (Nagano Pref.) During the tour I like to provide simple explanations about Japanese history, and small tips for using the Japanese language on your request. My interests are food, cooking, sake and wine as well as Japanese novels and movies. It would be possible to add those tastes to our tour including a visit to local wineries, movie scenes, etc... I am originally from the Philippines and I've been living and working in the Hokuriku region for almost 7 years. I definitely consider Kanazawa as my home in Japan. Kanazawa is known for many things including gold leaf, a rich samurai history, its beautiful gardens, delicious seafood, and historic Geiko (Geisha) culture. I would love to introduce these things and so much more! Did you know Kanazawa is also home to the oldest sake brewery in the region? What about the local ceramics and laquerware? You can also participate in different workshops like traditional Japanese sweets-making class, gold leaf pasting, Kaga-yuzen (local kimono brand) painting, and sushi-making using local ingredients. There are many beautiful known spots and a lot of hidden gems in the area and I can't wait to introduce them to you. “Group cruise excursion to Ainokura and Kanazawa ”
Lucy was our guide on a private cruise ship excursion for 8 people from Toyama port to Ainokura village and Kanazawa. Lucy was a mine of interesting information about the places we visited. She organised everything so that we had plenty of time to return to the ship. She took us to a very local restaurant where we had a wonderful lunch. We were all very happy with Lucy as our guide and would thoroughly recommend her service.

“Wonderful morning tour of Kanawaza”
We’ve had a wonderful morning tour of Kanazawa with Sachi. Beforehand, communication was perfect. She was open to tailoring the programme based on our interests, made clear what we could expect and some useful things to know in preparation. During the tour itself, it was very interesting to get more information on what we were seeing. She also brought us to some lesser-known locations that we would have never found on our own.
