Well, I am curious about Japanese history, especially the history of Japan's ancient times since I was raised next to the world biggest mausoleum of the ancient Emperor called "Nintoku" in Sakai city Osaka which has just become one of the world cultural heritage sites. I dug out some ancient earthen ware vessels around there when I was a primary school student like the adventure archaeologist “Indiana Jones"　(It’s our secret!!). That was my hobby. Now, one of my hobbies is outdoor activities such as mountaineering, kayaking, skiing and others. So I would like to take you to some good places where you can enjoy Japanese unique nature. Although there are now many visitors from abroad, mainly from Asian countries, they are mostly interested in shopping taking advantage of cheaper yen rather than understanding our people and culture. Kyoto and Nara are the two cities best known by foreign tourists, but not all the aspects of Japanese culture are concentrated there. “Superb 2 half day tours in Kyoto with Kaori”

Kaori showed my mum and I some amazing spots in Kyoto. She was very informative and tailored the pace of the tour to accommodate my Mums much slower pace and restricted mobility. Kaori was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Kyoto's must-see attractions and World Heritage sites in one day.

“Wonderful rainy day in Kyoto”

Just finished a whole day tour of Kyoto’s main attractions. It’s still raining…..but although we were not lucky with the weather we were extremely lucky with our guide Fumi (who also speaks Spanish very fluently). “Full day tour in Kyoto”

Maricel is an excellent tour guide. She brought us to the most important sights in Kyoto (Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle, Bamboo Forest and the Gion District) and explained the local culture very well. She is also an excellent photographer and she took photos of us with her phone which she shared with us. We will cherish the memories and would highly recommend her as an excellent tour guide. We would love to have her again should we return to Kyoto.
