저희는 오키나와 슈리성을 비롯한 옛 류큐국의 역사 유적, 명소, 문화를 느끼고 싶었습니다. 하지만 대부분의 패키지 단체 투어는 류큐국과 관련된 부분은 없고 아메리칸 빌리지, 츄라우미 수족관과 같은 현재의 오키나와 명소만을 투어하기에 프라이빗 투어를 신청하게 되었습니다. 결과적으론 저희의 목적은 성공했고 정말 좋은 선택을 하게 되었다고 생각합니다. 투어 당일 류큐문화를 보기위해 급하게 오키나와 월드를 가는 것으로 변경도 잘 대응해주셨고 가는길이나 목적지에서의 전문적인 설명 모두 기억에 남을 정도로 완벽했습니다. 특히 저희는 비영어권 국가에서 여행왔기에 노리코 가이드와는 일본어로 대화하고 제가 일행에게 통역을 했는데 중간중간 적절한 타이밍에 기다려줫고 저와 대화할때는더 쉽고빠르게 이해할 수 있도록 노력해주시는 부분이 정말 좋았습니다. 가능만 하다면 오키나와가 아닌 일본 지역의 투어도 노리코 가이드와 함께하고 싶은 생각입니다! We wanted to feel the historical sites, attractions, and culture of the old Ryukyu Kingdom, including Shuri Castle in Okinawa. However, most package group tours do not have anything to do with Ryukyu, but only tour current Okinawa attractions such as American Village and Churaumi Aquarium, so I applied for a private tour. As a result, I think our purpose was successful and we made a really good choice. On the day of the tour, they responded well to the change by rushing to Okinawa World to see Ryukyu culture, and both the way and the professional explanation at the destination were memorable and perfect. In particular, we traveled from a non-English speaking country, so we talked to the Noriko guide in Japanese and I interpreted it to the my group, and I really liked the part where she waited at the right time in between and tried to understand it more easily and quickly when talking to me. If possible, I would like to join the Noriko guide on different tours in Japan, not Okinawa!

Wow, thank you for a long heartful message with English and Korean. It was a great day and a precious time to talk to you and to your father. I felt I seem to be in Korean drama while I was listening Korean. It was really familiar language sound. I learned a lot on the day. Thank you.

“Aloha to the Max!”

Harry was an awesome guide since we landed. He was very flexible in what can be done as we hired him for 2 days. We enjoyed his knowledge and company so much we hired him another 2 days to show us around for total of 4 days. His English is very good as he lived in Hawaii for 3 years as a teacher, teaching High-school and College students. He teaches many subjects, but his specialty is chemistry which is cool, so he understands a lot about Geology as well and is able to explain many other aspects of Okinawa, not just history. We were able to visit the Okinawan archives and find out more about our family's genealogy. We found out we were Pechin Okinawan Samurai warrior family. Which was really cool as there were also historical documents about my Great Grandfather and his immigration back in the 1917. Harry would take us to local Okinawan restaurants which were incredibly delicious. And as a big treat we visited Ogimi village, which is a Blue Zone village that has the most centennials in the world. And we ate at Emi No Mise which serves the traditional Okinawan food that they eat to live a long long life. We visited Shuri Castle which was a treat and to me the best part is he took us to the Himeyuri Peace memorial where it honor the high-school girls who were nurses that tried to help during the Battle of Okinawa. It's such a solemn and sober feeling as more than half died during the war. Powerful monument. I truly appreciated understanding what happened. Harry is very knowledgeable and patient, very patient because he is a teacher as well and still teaches students. I appreciated him very much because my parents are in their 80s and move and think slower, hard of hearing too. And Harry understood. He is a good person, solid! Highly Recommend! A Kind person. I truly appreciate your family’s warm participation throughout all four days. I truly admired how creative you are, and hearing your parents’ stories as lifelong educators was significant to me, as I was also a teacher. Our conversations were one of the highlights of the tour. Watching the three of you discover detailed records at the Okinawa Prefectural Library, and then visiting your ancestral village together—ending with that unforgettable view from the lookout—was a deeply moving moment. After we parted, I found myself wondering whether your monorail ride and drive to Churaumi Aquarium went smoothly.
