We had wonderful time with Miyu, she is attentive to our needs, brought us to a local restaurant we had skewed pork, shrimp and asparagus. We will recommended her to everyone that need a tour guide.

“Best Guided Tour Ever in Osaka”

Vicki was early and was very attentive as to what we wanted to see. She knew the city well and gave us lots a good information with the sites we saw. She let us decide the pace and for us, bathroom breaks and refreshments as needed. I feel we saw a lot of Osaka and have a good feel for the city. We highly recommend her as a guide. Plus she has a charming personality and communicated with other locals on our behalf.

“A lively night in Osaka”

We started in Kyoto, where Nobuko (Nono) picked us up and showed us how to take the local subway and JR to Osaka. That alone was useful for the rest of our trip. She's friendly, kind, and very positive. She walked us through Shinsekai, Dotonbori, and the Shinsaibashi shopping arcade, and introduced us to depachika, the department store food halls. Along the way she took us to Osaka's popular food spots. The okonomiyaki we shared was a highlight. Our evening turned out to be unique. It was our first time in Osaka, and it happened to be the night the local baseball team won the game that sent them to the playoffs. Nono had warned us it might be more crowded than usual. Nono gave us some of the team's history: it had been many years since they'd made it this far, and the last time, people jumped into the river in excitement. Huge crowds of locals indeed gathered at the river to celebrate. Even with the crowds and heavy police presence, she was able to confidently pivot and led us safely and comfortably. If you want to try lots of Japanese specialties, Nono is a great resource. Five stars.
