Lovley trip!! Tatsuya is an amazing tour guide. Had an amazing Japanese lunch and went to a bunch of temples museums and gardens! Will definitely come back with him.

“Travelling like a local with a local”

We had a truly memorable day with Nikki in Osaka. We were all feeling a little ‘Temple/Shrine’ fatigued.. so Nikki filled our day with fun, local experiences. (Although insisted we visit Sumiyoshi Shrine.. and so glad she did). A great local lunch, riding trolley car and really ‘feeling’ Ōsaka. Nikki was flexible, went absolutely above and beyond (even tracking down a lost iPad left on the bullet train). Just couldn’t recommend Nikki more highly.. and her lovely sense of humour ensured she was great company.

He is constantly monitoring every person in the group to access their level of comfort and safety and responding to their needs. And on top of all this he shares cultural myths and the Japanese story. And did I mention an ability to guide you through the experience you are looking to have filled with information and lore about the sites you are visiting. This is a level of guide that I have only dreamed about. And just a good person to know.

Marty, thank you for such thoughtful words. Spending two days with you and the group in Kyoto and Osaka was a genuine pleasure. From the moment we met at the port, everyone brought great energy and curiosity, which made my job easy.
