Stretching for about 4.7km along the valley, the remains of the railway including 6 tunnels and 3 bridges from when locomotive once ran remain intact. The trail is easy enough for even beginners to hike and can be completed in about 2-3 hours at an average walking pace.

“Great day out in Kobe ”

We had an amazing day touring a few Sake breweries and delicious lunch of local Kobe cuts of beef while learning about the history of sake production. Seiho was a wonderful and personable fellow throughout the day. I strongly recommend booking him. You can’t go wrong.

“Nikki is a flat out star! ”

We cannot give high enough praise for Nikki. She is an absolute gem of a person, let alone guide. Her knowledge of Japan is fantastic, especially the Kansai region. Humble, funny, personable; you will be relaxed within minutes of meeting her. We are not kidding when we say she is practically family after spending the day together. FYI… This is a real post, not someone just writing a favorable review. Nikki is the real deal, and you will have a great time. .
