“Excellent trip ”

My family of five made a trip to Shirawakago with a taxi driver and his large van. The driver spoke limited English but was thoughtful and kind. He was a careful driver and communicated sights to see and times to meet clearly. I’m actually really glad we booked this trip.

“Not cheap but worth it!”

Our driver was very friendly and despite not being able to speak English well was able to communicate with us via a translation app. He was prompt and helpful and assisted us with our bags as we transitioned from one ryokan to another.Shirakawa was a great day excursion from Takayama, but I'm not sure if I would overnight there.

Thanks so much for your review. More and more translation app is now available to help us communicate better even when we don't speak the same language. More drivers will use translation apps in the future, we believe foreign tourists will definitely have a better travel experience as well.
