Explore Ohori Park, Japanese Garden, and Fukuoka Art Museum with a nice Lunch

Ohori Park is a popular place for Fukuoka citizens to relax. The surrounding distance is 2km. You can see many people jogging and walking. Japanese garden is a water park. Designer is Seiroku Honda who is called the father of Japanese Garden. We drop in Fukuoka Art Museum next to Japanese Garden. This was renovated in 2019. You can enjoy walking around this park.
Then I take you to the nice and delicious Japanese restaurant. You can enjoy eating lunch and talking.

Ohori Park and Japanese Garden
We can go to Ohori Park and Japanese Garden by subway. This is near from Tenjin (center of Fukuoka city). We walk to Japanese Garden. You can look around nice Japanese garden. Then we go to Fukuoka Art Museum and you can admire pictures for a while. We can drop in Museum cafe to drink a cup of coffee. It is nice view from cafe to Park. WE walk around Ohori Park.
Tenjin
We go to Tenjin station by subway. I take you to Tenjin underground shopping mall. We go to new tall office building and the big department stores.

restaurant at Tenjin or Hakata station
I take you to a nice and delicious restaurant. You can tell what kind of Japanese food you want to eat. ( Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, Ramen, Sukiyaki, Teppanyaki, Tonkatsu, Okonomiyaki, and so on. I make a restaurant reservation in advance so you don't have to wait at the restaurant. Restaurants are near from Hakata station or Tenjin Subway station. I recommend Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, Sukiyaki, Teppanyaki.

“Memorable Tour”
We booked the Autumn Leaves Tour because we wanted to see good autumn leaves for our trip to Fukuoka but got overwhelmed with the choice of where to visit. There are autumn leaves everywhere during fall and we didn't know which locations in Fukuoka City center was nice, and if we needed to go further out to Saga or Kitakyushu. Going with Masa-san was a good choice for us. The locations he picked were very memorable spots with stunning foliage -- and also locations we initially dismissed when we started researching for autumn leaves. We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money of the restaurant he chose. In our country the price is easily double or more for the teishoku he chose at the restaurant he booked for us, and the meal was delicious. As a person he is earnest and has an easygoing manner that made us feel comfortable around him. He also has the vigor to guide us through the entire walking tour. It is clear that he enjoys meeting people and showing them hidden gems around Fukuoka City. (30 November 2024)
