First up, I bring you to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Hiroshima is well known as the first city in the world history, that was atomic bombed. You may walk and drop by at many spots built to commemorate those who perished in those days and learn more at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. After that study tour, we roam around Central Hiroshima (the busiest street for shopping) and finally arrive at Okonomiyaki restaurant for early supper. Okonomiyaki is Hiroshima's soul food; a savory pancake filled with chopped vegetables, meat, sea food, noodle, egg and whatever you want, even cheese... Actually this is the origin of the name of Okonomiyaki, since Okonomi literally means "as you like" and yaki means grilled. Fun to see how to make on a huge iron plate and exciting to eat with a special tool (Kote). Just give it a try.

We had a wonderful day in Hiroshima. Mayumi is wonderful-she shares a wealth of knowledge both on the sites we visited and how to get there. This has been one of the best tour experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Mayumi!!
Dear Meri, I appreciate your wonderful review. I was forever grateful that you were able to come to Japan and Hiroshima to share your time and joy wth us. Now we have a difficult time and many sites & facilities are shut down, though. I hope you will have good memories in Japan and come back to fully enjoy next time. Again I was so touched by your consideration and thoughtfulness. Please give my best regards to your son and friends. Thank you very much. Mayumi
My wife and I spent a wonderful day with Mayumi at Miyajima and Peace Park. We were blessed with good weather (despite earlier rain forecast), and more importantly, informative, understanding and helpful guide. We have been to both places previously on our own many years ago. However, with Mayumi as our guide, we felt like we were visiting them for the very first time! Should we return to Hiroshima again, we will certainly engage her as our guide again!
Dear Yean san. I appreciate the awesome review you kindly left. I couldn’t be happier. The day I spent with you was surely memorable and joyful. It felt on the auspicious first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year, which made it more special for you. I was honored that I could be with you and your gracious wife on that special day. I was also very grateful for everything you two kindly did for me. May every day of the New Year brings you sweet surprises that fill your life with happiness. With gratitude, Mayumi
Very interesting informative & enjoyable
Dear David and Family, I am so grateful that you took the time out to leave such a good review. I would love to continue providing my guiding service to awesome clients like you. Thank you very much. Best, Mayumi
Had a wonderful day with Mayumi. She was so helpful and patient. She worked very hard to do everything I asked and more. I really enjoyed talking to her and learned a lot. She is very knowledgeable and a lot of fun! We went to Rabbit Island and talked a lot on the way over and back. I know I was an unusual client since I am quite old and still asked to go to Rabbit Island. :) She packed a LOT into one day for me. It is a day I will remember always. Thanks Mayumi. I hope I can return to Hiroshima some day to do some more sightseeing. I did not have time to see everything. I need to return.
Dear Carol, I thank you so much for the excellent review you kindly posted! I am very happy you loved the tour with me. I also loved the wonderful time spent with you. There is a famous Japanese idiom which describes a cultural concept of treasuring the unrepeatable nature of a moment; Ichi-go, Ichi-e. It can be translated as " once in a life time" or " treasure every meeting as it may not come again". However I can’t wait to have you back here, Lol. Wish you great health, happiness and successful business. Best. Mayumi
