The highlights of this tour are the Atomic Bomb Dome and Miyajima. In the Peace Park and Peace Memorial Museum, you will learn that the atomic bomb deprived the citizens of Hiroshima of their future and feel the strength of the human race.
We will then head to Miyajima, one of the three most scenic spots in Japan. Enjoy the unique Itsukushima Shrine and Otorii floating on the sea, and the majestic Daisho-in Temple. For lunch, try Hiroshima's soul food okonomiyaki or delicious oysters.

My name is Miyu. I have been a Nationally Licensed Guide Interpreter since 2009. I began my career as a tourist guide last year after working as a public servant for nearly four decades.
I worked in the Atomic Bomb Survivors Support Division for 12 years until I retired from the local government, and I continue to interact with Hibakusha. Therefore, I have a lot of knowledge about A-bomb survivors, the reconstruction of Hiroshima, and the effects of radiation on the human body, which I can correctly convey to inbound visitors.
I have experience in tea ceremonies and calligraphy and am especially good at guiding visitors through tea ceremony experiences.
I love to watch baseball games, so I enjoy talking about them with guests from countries where they are popular.
I am a volunteer medical interpreter and can respond to visitors' sudden health problems.

“Hiroshima Peace Museum & Shukkeien Garden”
Miyu was a wonderful and informative guide. She had to keep the attention of 3 teenagers and a 10 year old and she did that beautifully with the history of the bombings. Shukkeien Gardens is a must see Japanese Garden. Miyu was also gracious enough to purchase our Peace Museum tickets before we arrived so we didn't have to stand in line. Highly recommend Miyu as a guide.

Thanks a lot for the kind words. I really appreciate you giving young families the chance to see what actually happened in Hiroshima. It was a real pleasure spending time with your lovely family.

“Peace Park and Saijo”
What an amazing day. The peace park and museum were one of the most moving experiences. Saijo was so much fun visiting the different sake breweries. This was probably one of the must memorable days of my Japan trip. Thank you Miyu San!

What a meaningful day it was! I'm truly glad that you felt the importance of learning about the reality of the atomic bombing. Watching you enjoy Hiroshima’s sake made me happy and excited, too. Thank you for your love for Japan. I really hope our paths cross again someday.
