We will take the Ferry to the other side of Kagoshima bay to Sakurajima Volcano, walk on lava trail and continue to best view points known to us the locals.
optional: a coffee stop with the view of sakurajima.
SENGANEN Garden
This magnificent Japanese garden was built for the dynasty of the Samurai feudal lords of Shimazu clan. One of the most powerful prefecture leaders in Japan. It's a big complex, there is a lot to explore, and a paradise for photographers.

if you'd like and if time allows it,
Seat at one of the most beautiful Starbucks BLD in Japan. located in historic architectural structure.
or we can stroll at the vibrant TENMONKAN city downtown. on the will see the cultural samurai Castle gate.
or
we can visit a local authentic cutting glass artcraft workshop where the methods of the production are the same as it was 150 years ago. the fine art and skills of the artists creating one of the most unique glass works in Japan.

Entrance fee at Senganen ￥1000 per adult, Food, and Transportation:
- Rental Car (driver+guide+guests) ￥15,000 ~ ￥39,000
depending on the number of participants.
- an additional ¥ 4000 fee for loading the Car on the FERRY
to the Sakurajima volcano and back.
- ¥ 400 the ferry passenger fee.

Tour Important Information
This tour is designed to be a flexible car driven tour. With a car/van we can reach the most beautiful view-points on the Sakurajima volcano, no time wasted waiting for buses. It is also perfect for Hotel or CRUISE port pickup as there is a little convenient public transport into the city from the port.

“Cruise stop in Kagoshima with family”
We had a wonderful day with Yaron in Kagoshima. We were a family group with granparents and children. He was very flexible to adapt to our needs during the day and able to organize a tour suitable and customized for our group. He was able to organize for us not only the guided tour but also he booked for our group a van. He was both very friendly and professional. We enjoyed a lot the day and we were able to discover very nice spots of Kagoshima, especially in the area of Sakurajima.

“Chiran Town Samurai village Day Tour”
We had an excellent tour with Yaron who was very flexible, knowledgeable and friendly. He went out of his way to get as much into the day with our reduced time due to having to rejoin our ship. We would highly recommend Yaron. 5 stars.
