We will take the Ferry to the other side of Kagoshima bay to Sakurajima Volcano, walk on lava trail and continue to best view points known to us the locals.

SENGANEN Garden
This magnificent Japanese garden was built for the dynasty of the Samurai feudal lords of Shimazu clan. One of the most powerful prefecture leaders in Japan. It's a big complex, there is a lot to explore, a paradise for photographers.
Satsuma Kiriko
if you like we'll visit a local authentic cutting glass artcraft workshop where the methods of the production are the same as it was 150 years ago. the fine art and skills of the artists creating one of the most unique glass works in Japan.
Tenmonkan Downtown
After visiting some historical and cultural sites on the way from the Gardens to the city, we will get to Know Kagoshima's vibrant Downtown TENMONKAN by walking and tasting some local food.

Inclusions & Exclusions
Guide fee, hotel pick-up, free additional tips for traveling in kyushu, etc..
Entrance fee at Senganen ￥1000 per adult, Food, and Transportation:
** pickup from CRUISE port or from the Hotel is by a Taxi or a Rental-Car
Option 1) Traveling by taxi: ￥16,0000 ~￥45,000 JPY depends on the number of participants.
Option 2) Rental-Car (driver + guide + guests) ￥15,000 ~ ￥40,000 JPY depends on the number of participants. (it's the prefered CHOICE for traveling around Sakurajima volcano!)
There is also an additional FERRY cost about ¥2000 each way for taking us and the car on the ferry to Sakurajima volcano + ¥200 each way for a passengers.
Tour Important Information
This tour is designed to be a car driven tour. With a car/van we can reach the most beautiful view-points on the Sakurajima volcano, no time wasted waiting for buses. It is also perfect for Hotel or CRUISE port pickup as there is no public transport available into the city from the port.

“Great guide when in Kagoshima!”
Booked with Yaron for a tour of Chiran out of the port of Kagoshima. He was waiting for us with the taxi driver (who had a speaker and microphone that made it easy to hear his commentary) in a timely manner and we headed to our first stop which was the Samurai gardens. He had the itinerary well prepared and we had ample time for all the stops planned. On the visit to the Chiran Peace Museum for Kamikaze Pilots he accompanied us and provided great explanations. Lunch was at a really fun restaurant which culminated our visit to Chiran. I highly recommend Yaron for your next visit to the Kagoshima area.
