Lets visit Japan's one of the most beautiful Samurai residence from the EDO period. Stroll between the gardens, see and learn about the samurai's culture at that time.
Visit the Kamikaze pilot museum garden (if time allows we'll visit in side), continue driving through landscapes of the tea fields to the magnificent south coastal views.
if you'd like we can enjoy delicious Somen and trout cuisine, loved by the localens, and enjoy the view of lake IKEDA with the Kaimon volcano at the background.

Meeting, Getting to know each other and leaving to south kagoshima to chiran Town.
Chiran Samurai Residence
Entering the residence gardens, learning about their ways of life in the village and how they built those gardens back that days. you can take photos of the beautiful gardens they built.
Kamikaze Museum
One of the best war museums. we also can see the letters that left by the young pilots to their families before sent to one way mission, sacrifice their lives due to the madness that gripped the military leadership in that days.

Rental Car (driver + guide + guests) ￥15,000 ~ ￥40,000 JPY depends on the number of participants.
Entrance fees: Samurai Residence: 530 ￥per adult.
Kamikaze museum: 530 ￥per adult.
Restaurant: ￥1,000 ~ ￥1,700 per serving
Tour Important Information
This tour is designed to be a car driven tour. With a Car/Van we can reach the most beautiful points on of the satsuma peninsula, no time wasted. It is perfect for Hotel or CRUISE port pickup as there is no public transport available from the port.
In case of an allergic to gluten we can skip/change the dining place.

“Cruise stop in Kagoshima with family”
We had a wonderful day with Yaron in Kagoshima. We were a family group with granparents and children. He was very flexible to adapt to our needs during the day and able to organize a tour suitable and customized for our group. He was able to organize for us not only the guided tour but also he booked for our group a van. He was both very friendly and professional. We enjoyed a lot the day and we were able to discover very nice spots of Kagoshima, especially in the area of Sakurajima.

“Chiran Town Samurai village Day Tour”
We had an excellent tour with Yaron who was very flexible, knowledgeable and friendly. He went out of his way to get as much into the day with our reduced time due to having to rejoin our ship. We would highly recommend Yaron. 5 stars.
