One of the best war museums. we also can see the letters that left by the young pilots to their families before sent to one way mission, sacrifice their lives due to the madness that gripped the military leadership in that days.

Entrance fees: Samurai Residence: 530 ￥per adult.
Kamikaze museum: 530 ￥per adult.
Restaurant: ￥1,000 ~ ￥1,700 per serving
Tour Important Information
This tour is designed to be a car driven tour. With a car/van we can reach the most beautiful points on of the satsuma peninsula, no time wasted waiting for buses. It is also perfect for Hotel or CRUISE port pickup as there is no public transport available from the port.
In case of an allergic to gluten we will change the dining place.

“Great guide when in Kagoshima!”
Booked with Yaron for a tour of Chiran out of the port of Kagoshima. He was waiting for us with the taxi driver (who had a speaker and microphone that made it easy to hear his commentary) in a timely manner and we headed to our first stop which was the Samurai gardens. He had the itinerary well prepared and we had ample time for all the stops planned. On the visit to the Chiran Peace Museum for Kamikaze Pilots he accompanied us and provided great explanations. Lunch was at a really fun restaurant which culminated our visit to Chiran. I highly recommend Yaron for your next visit to the Kagoshima area.
