A 4th generation shouchu distillery, pionner in the field of aged shochu, Kanosuke has developed a deep understanding of the delicate craft of distilling and is now trying its hand at single malt mellow yet flavorful whisky.
Mars Tsunuki, under the power of nature and time, complex and diverse raw liquors are produced over the years of aging in the barrel storage.
The 400-year history of Satsuma ware, introduced from Korea features numerous ceramics by successive generations of Chin Ju-kan.

Milling, Mashig Tun, Washback, Pot still, second Washback, Warehouse then the Mellow Bar that you can enjoy tasting more than 3 kinds of whisky overlooking the beautiful ocean. Tours are held on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 10:45 and 13:45.
Museum of Satsuma Ware Pottery
The Satsuma Pottery Museum introduces the 400-year history of Satsuma ware, which was introduced from Korea, and features a large number of ceramics from successive generations of Chin Ju-kan. Healthy Medicinal cuisine is served at Chin Ju Kan Tea Room

One of the lunch set menus; Medicinal bibimbap( mixed rice with meat & vegetables) 2,200 yen comes with Medicinal seaweed soup, Small bowl, Dessert, seasonal medicinal tea. “Beautiful day in Kagoshima ”
We enjoyed an excellent day in Kagoshima with Hitomi as our guide. She had arranged everything perfectly for our cruise port visit and was a great host. Hitomi even made us a reservation for a hot pot meal to try the famous Kagoshima black pork and it was so delicious- "Meccha oishii"! Thank you Hitomi for a great introduction to your city!

“Kagoshima Family Adventure ”
Hitomi was wonderful. She arranged a private taxi bus for the day to take us into Kagoshima from the port. She was very organized, and very knowledgeable. Her itinerary for us was perfect with the kimono and armor dressing, and we so enjoyed the soba noodle making and lunch! She made our stop in Kagoshima very memorable!

“Amazing Day in Kagoshima ”
We had a great day with Hitomi , she took us to the hot Sandbath which was a very enjoyable experience. After that we preferred to do a green tea experience which was very fun , followed for the Kamikase museum and the Samurai Gardens . And the lunch was amazing !!! Steamed vegetables and three cut of beef . I can’t recommend enough to book a tour with Hitomi, she took care of every aspect of our tour including to book private transportation for the five of us .
