Experience the world of the global hit K-drama, "Can This Love Be Translated?", by visiting the iconic locations where Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung’s characters met.

This tour takes you through the stunning coastal scenery of Kamakura and Enoshima, including peaceful local spots featured in the series. As a local guide, I’ll share the stories behind each scene and help you capture perfect photos from the best angles—recreating those unforgettable moments from the drama.

10:00 AM

Meeting Point

JR Fujisawa Station Exit

- ◆If you are traveling from Tokyo or elsewhere, I will be happy to advise you in advance on the most convenient way to reach the meeting place. ◆Upon request, I can also meet you at other convenient locations in Kamakura or Yokohama. Please feel free to ask me.

Enoden Ride from Fujisawa Station to Gokurakuji Station

Since we are boarding at Fujisawa Station (the starting station), we have a better chance of securing the front-row seats right behind the driver’s cabin.

From here, you can enjoy the very best of the Enoden experience: the thrill of the train passing incredibly close to local houses and the stunning, open views of the Shonan coast. It’s a spectacular front-row perspective that truly captures the charm of this historic railway

Gokurakuji Station: Where the Story Begins

Gokurakuji Station is the backdrop where the story of Mu-hui and Ho-jin unfolds. The poignant scene of the two passing each other — both inside the Enoden train and on the station platform — serves as a beautiful foreshadowing of their journey ahead.

Opened in 1904, this charming wooden station was selected as one of the "Top 100 Stations in the Kanto Region" in 1999. Surrounded by lush mountains and greenery, its tranquil atmosphere has made it a favorite filming location for numerous films and dramas over the years.

Goryo Shrine

Goryo Shrine holds a special place in the drama as the location where Mu-jin returns the smartphone to Ho-jin. Founded in the late Heian period, this historic shrine is dedicated to the legendary warrior Kamakura Gongoro Kagemasa.

The most iconic feature here is the breathtaking sight of the Enoden train passing just inches away from the shrine's white stone torii gate. With trains running every 10 to 15 minutes, it is one of the best spots to capture Kamakura’s unique atmosphere. In early summer, the scene is further enhanced by blooming hydrangeas, creating a stunning "triple harmony" of the train, the gate, and the flowers.

Around Hase Level Crossing

Located just a short walk from Hase Station (near the "Tanaka Barber Shop"), this specific railroad crossing is one of the most memorable locations in the series.

This is where the two characters wander through the narrow streets in search of a restaurant. Fans will vividly remember the poignant cut where the Enoden train passes by, and as it clears the tracks, Ho-jin has mysteriously vanished from sight.

Inamuragasaki Park

Inamuragasaki Park offers one of the most breathtaking panoramas in Japan. This is the scenic stage where the character Ji-seon gives an amulet (omamori) to Ho-jin—a heartfelt gesture set against a stunning backdrop.

Recognized as one of the "Top 100 Historical Parks in Japan," it is famous for allowing you to capture Mt. Fuji and Enoshima in a single frame. As the sun begins to set, the silhouette of the majestic mountain emerges, and the white waves of Shichirigahama glisten below, creating a romantic atmosphere that has captivated film directors for decades.

Enoden Ride to Enoshima

From Inamuragasaki Station, we will board the Enoden for a short but beautiful 12-minute ride to Enoshima Station. This segment of the railway is famous for its "ocean view" windows, where the blue Shonan coast stretches out before you.If you like, we can also take a short walk to a scenic spot where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Enoden train passing by the ocean.

Lunch

There are many options to choose from, including restaurants with beautiful ocean views, cozy cafes, and local specialties like Shirasu (whitebait) and fresh seafood. I would be happy to suggest the best spots based on your preferences.

Katase Fishing Port & the White Lighthouse

Located near the entrance to Enoshima, Katase Fishing Port provides a peaceful escape from the main tourist paths. In the drama, this is where the two leads sit on a bench, sharing a quiet moment with the coastline and Mt. Fuji stretching out before them.

Situated at the foot of the Enoshima Bridge, this working port is where local fishing boats rest on calm waters. A walk to the white lighthouse at the end of the pier rewards you with a panoramic view of Katase Beach and the Sagami Bay. Away from the crowds, it offers a glimpse into the authentic, everyday seaside life of Shonan.

Enoshima Shrine

We will visit Enoshima Shrine, one of Japan’s most significant sacred sites dedicated to the goddess Benzaiten. This historic complex consists of three separate shrines—Hetsumiya, Nakatsumiya, and Okutsumiya—scattered across the beautiful island.

Beyond its fame as a popular filming location for modern dramas and anime, Enoshima is a true treasure trove of Japanese heritage. As we walk through its historic paths, I will share the island's fascinating legends and the origins of its ancient shrines. You will experience a stunning harmony between centuries-old architecture and the breathtaking blue horizons of the Shonan coast.

The "Momo-chan Ramen" Exterior (Near tenzan lab.)

The scene where Mu-hui and Ho-jin happen to enter the same ramen shop is a pivotal turning point in the story. The exterior used for the fictional "Momo-chan Ramen" is located in the area near tenzan lab. on Enoshima island.

While the blue noren (shop curtain) that Mu-hui walks through looks very much like the entrance to tenzan lab., the actual establishment is a popular Japanese sweets shop. It is widely believed that while the exterior captured the unique atmosphere of Enoshima's backstreets, the interior scenes of the ramen shop were filmed at a different location.

Since the real tenzan lab. is a sweets shop, you can enjoy traditional Japanese treats like warabi-mochi or matcha instead of ramen!

Benzaiten Nakamise-dori

We will dive into the heart of the island’s energy at Benzaiten Nakamise-dori. This vibrant, upward-sloping shopping street serves as the main approach to Enoshima Shrine and is a key filming location where the two leads, Mu-hui and Ho-jin, explore the local culture together.

The street is lined with traditional wooden buildings, souvenir shops, and tempting street food stalls. It’s the perfect place to experience the same lively atmosphere seen in the drama while discovering the unique tastes of Enoshima.

Drama Walk: Retrace the steps of the characters as they navigate the colorful crowds and historic storefronts.

Local Delicacies: Try fresh seafood skewers or Japanese traditional sweets that make this street a food lover's paradise.

Historic Charm: Admire the bronze torii gate at the entrance, which marks the transition from the bustling market to the sacred grounds of the shrine.

O-iwayamichi Street

O-iwayamichi Street is a historic path leading from the Okutsu-miya of Enoshima Shrine toward the mystical Iwaya Caves. This atmospheric lane serves as the backdrop for several key moments: the polite farewell between the leads after Mu-hui thanks Ho-jin, the "Anman" incident where Mu-hui realizes he still has Ho-jin’s phone, and their relaxed stroll before dinner, where they browse souvenir shops and enjoy matcha soft-serve ice cream.

Near Miharashitei

Perched on the cliffs near the southwestern tip of Enoshima, Miharashitei is a historic restaurant overlooking the rugged coastline of Chigogafuchi Marine Plateau. This area serves as a backdrop for the leads as they explore the deepest reaches of the island. On clear days, the vast ocean meets the majestic silhouette of Mt. Fuji, creating one of the most iconic photo spots on the island.

05:30 PM

The Enoshima Sea Candle

The Enoshima Sea Candle, a lighthouse-observation tower standing 59.8 meters tall, is the iconic symbol of the island. In the drama, this is the location where Ho-jin visits while searching for Ji-seon, moving through the vibrant crowds toward the tower’s glowing peak.

From the glass-walled observation floor and the open-air deck above (at an elevation of 101.56 meters), you can enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of Sagami Bay and the distant Mt. Fuji on a clear day.

Wonderful day

I had a wonderful day with Yacco, my guide. it was a fascinating tour. She was very flexible with the set itinerary, adding a stop at a museum without cutting out the planned stops. Gave valuable information on how to navigate the various transit systems. (Train, subway and buses). We also had a great lunch at a local eatery. Yacco is very nice, kind and knowledgeable. I truly enjoyed our day.
