We'll head to the Niyodo River, famous for having the clearest, most transparent water in Japan.

Here I'll take you not just to see the stream, but to explore its gorge, with spots for waterfalls and swimming as well. If you're traveling with small children, I'll make sure to choose shallow areas where they can safely play.

The area is also home to whisky and gin distilleries, as well as a beer brewery, all using the pristine water of the Niyodo River — and I'm happy to guide you to any of these upon request.

We'll enjoy a meal at a lively food court packed with izakaya stalls, where the best of Kochi's local food culture comes together in one place.

It's filled with must-try dishes — from the finest, freshest katsuo no tataki (seared bonito), said to be the best in Japan, to steaks of the legendary Tosa Akaushi beef, a rare wagyu that never leaves Kochi Prefecture!
