Togetsukyo Bridge

Your tour begins at Togetsukyo Bridge, the gateway to Arashiyama. We’ll take photos with the beautiful scenery in the background.

Tenryuji Temple

Visit Tenryu-ji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy its beautiful garden. I’ll also explain the history of the temple and Zen Buddhism.

Experience the peaceful atmosphere of the Bamboo Grove. I’ll also explain the special relationship between Japanese people and bamboo through daily life, traditions, and stories.

* As an option, I can also take you to Daikaku-ji Temple, Monkey Park, or any other place you would like to visit. An additional fee will apply.

* This tour involves a lot of walking, so I don’t recommend it for guests with foot, knee, or back problem. I also recommend avoiding this tour during the hot summer months.

* For all other seasons, this tour is an excellent choice.

* Please let me know in advance if you have any food allergies or dietary.

My work schedule changes every week, so I can’t guarantee specific days. If you’re interested in my tour, please send me a message first, and I’ll check if I’m available on your preferred date.
