Fushimi Inari Shrine, one of Japan’s most famous landmarks. Walk through thousands of vibrant red torii gates, learn about the fox messengers of Inari, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this unforgettable sacred place.

Kiyomizu-dera Temple

Kiyomizu-dera, one of Kyoto’s most famous temples and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy stunning views from its iconic wooden stage and explore the charming historic streets nearby.

Sannen-zaka, Yasaka Pagoda, and Ninen-zaka

Walk along the charming streets of Sannen-zaka to the iconic Yasaka Pagoda, where you can take unforgettable photos. Then stroll down Ninen-zaka and enjoy the timeless beauty and atmosphere of old Kyoto.

Kodai-ji Temple, Entoku-in Temple,and Nene's Path.

Visit Kodai-ji Temple, a beautiful temple founded by Nene, the wife of the famous samurai Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Enjoy its peaceful gardens and traditional atmosphere.


Explore Entoku-in Temple, where you can admire beautiful Zen gardens and feel the quiet beauty of Japanese culture.


Then take a peaceful walk along Nene-no-michi Street, a charming historic path surrounded by traditional buildings and the atmosphere of old Kyoto.

Maruyama Park

Maruyama Park is Kyoto’s oldest park and a peaceful place loved by locals. In spring, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it becomes one of Kyoto’s most beautiful and popular destinations.

Yasaka Shrine

Yasaka Shrine is one of Kyoto’s most famous shrines and the home of the Gion Festival, one of Japan’s oldest and most famous festivals. It has been loved by people for centuries as a place of prayer and celebration.

Chion-in Temple

Chion-in Temple is one of Kyoto’s most famous Buddhist temples. Its impressive Sanmon Gate is the largest wooden temple gate in Japan. The temple has also been used as a filming location for movies, The Last Samurai, thanks to its beautiful and historic atmosphere.

We will only visit the temple grounds, so there is no admission fee. We will not enter the buildings.

We will walk along some of Kyoto’s most popular streets, including Pontocho Street, Hanamikoji Street, and Gion Shirakawa.

Tour Important Information

Please wear comfortable shoes, as we will be walking a lot during this tour.


This tour may not be suitable for guests who have difficulty walking or have back problems.

For guests who are not confident walking or are elderly, I can adjust the route to make the tour less physically demanding. We will take a taxi from Fushimi Inari Taisha to Kiyomizu-dera, and the taxi fare is included in the tour price.


I have guided many tourists in their 70s on this tour, and they were all able to complete the tour. As long as you do not have any serious leg or back problems, I believe this tour can be enjoyable for older guests as well.

If necessary, we can use a taxi for part of the tour to ensure your comfort and safety.
