Kyoto Private Tour - Fushimi Inari Shrine is the head shrine of all Fushimi shrines. There are around 30,000 Inari shrines in Japan. Its establishment in 711 which belong to Nara era. People have gathered here to pray for good harvests, business, the safety of home and family and all kinds of other wishes. Inari means god of food. So Inari shrine have been used for the place to celebrate harvesting such as thanksgiving.

We go to Fushimi Inari shrine in the morning.

Fushimi Inari is the most popular sightseeing spot in Japan. So no way to skip this spot!! Next, we will go to Kiyomizu temple. Also, there is Sanneizaka which is a traditional slope pass around Kiyomizu district. Then walking around the Gion area in the nighttime! If we have extra time, I will introduce you Nishiki market!

Tour Important Information

Transportation costs about 1000~2000 yen depend on the course. In addition, I charge 2000 yen for my transportation from my house to your hotel in Kyoto and return.

The guiding fee does not include transportation fees while guiding (please pay transportation fee for guide too), entrance fees, and meals.

Hello. I am a Hero from Shiga. I have lived in Denmark, Canada, Germany.

“Hero was a great guide!!”

We worked with Hero for two days in Kyoto and were so happy! He is so knowledgeable about the area and also very interesting and fun. We really enjoyed our time with him. He also took a ton of photos of us and sent then to us. We had a time crunch catching a train to the airport and he was so helpful in getting us back to the train station and getting us exactly to our platform so we would make the train on time. We had a great tour with him!!!

Thank you very much for sharing the New Year with me. It was a great time with you all. I hope you like some of my pictures. I was happy that we could manage a tight schedule from ramen lunch in Nara to the bullet train in Kyoto. Thank you for following me. I hope you have a great time in South Korea, too. I just had an incredible experience in Kyoto with Hero on 2025-06-01. Hero is Excellent all around. Hero is a great listener and communicator. Hero is also very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Hero was prepared and ensured each part of my tour was well organized. I experienced exactly what I hoped for on our tour. Hero went above and beyond ensuring my experience at the local palaces, temples, shrines, and our dining were meaningful. “Fantastic day with Hero in Kyoto”

We had a fantastic day with Hiro in Kyoto. He picked us up at the Kobe port and took us to the train station where we experienced the smooth, fast ride on the bullet train to Kyoto. He showed us many sites, including the Fushimi-inari-taisha Shrine. He was excellent at explaining the history of what we were seeing. He booked lunch for us at a lovely restaurant and also took many pictures which he sent to us. We really enjoyed the day with Hiro and got to see a lot!!
