“Fantastic day with Hero in Kyoto”
We had a fantastic day with Hiro in Kyoto. He picked us up at the Kobe port and took us to the train station where we experienced the smooth, fast ride on the bullet train to Kyoto. He showed us many sites, including the Fushimi-inari-taisha Shrine. He was excellent at explaining the history of what we were seeing. He booked lunch for us at a lovely restaurant and also took many pictures which he sent to us. We really enjoyed the day with Hiro and got to see a lot!!

“Kyoto & Osaka Tour”
Hero was our guide in both Kyoto & Osaka. His knowledge of both cities regarding history/temples/shrines is amazing. One of our main reasons for visiting Japan in the Spring was to see the blossom and Hero knew exactly where to go to see it at its best. We were not disappointed. His English is very good indeed and he took us to some amazing restaurants - Hero is a very good chef at Japanese BBQ's :). He is very friendly and easy going we would highly recommend him as your guide. Thank you Hero for making our trip, especially Peter's trip of a lifetime, so very special. Peter & Carol

Thank you for sharing a great time with me. Also, thank you very much for teaching me what good white wine is and how to drink it. It was always a happy ending with white wine and you both. I was impressed by how you respected Japanese customs, nature, and gardens. I was happy that you liked the restaurants that I chose, because it is not that easy to find restaurants with nice wines. I hope we can meet up again in either England or Japan! Cheers and hug! Hero

“3 hour Kyoto highlights tour with some focus on the food scene”
Hero was an excellent tour guide who we considered to be the best among all the tour guides we had previously experienced. His knowledge of the local food and cultural history of Kyoto was superior. Of note is that he was once a sushi chef himself and his spouse is currently a chef in Kyoto. One of his best traits was the ability to customize the tour based on our interests while also sharing some insight and perspective on Kyoto within the context of Japanese culture and history. Additionally, his English was fluent and had a very pleasant and welcoming persona. We would highly recommend Hero. While our tour was somewhat food focused and brief, Hero would be terrific for other types of tours which we are aware he also provides.

Thank you very much for hiring me this time! It was nice to meet you all. I appreciate how you respect Japanese food, culture, and customs. I was happy to share my local knowledge. I wish we could meet up again in the U.S or Japan someday! Again, thank you very much for following me at new years! Cheers!
