“Guided Tour With Hero ”
I just had an incredible experience in Kyoto with Hero on 2025-06-01. Hero is Excellent all around. Hero is a great listener and communicator. Hero is also very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Hero was prepared and ensured each part of my tour was well organized. I experienced exactly what I hoped for on our tour. Hero went above and beyond ensuring my experience at the local palaces, temples, shrines, and our dining were meaningful. Hero is a unique guide in that he was easily able to share the depth and meaning behind what we saw at each stop. Tourists don’t always understand exactly what they are seeing. Hero uncovers the importance of each site. 5 Stars for Hero. I recommend Hero to all.

Thank you very much for writing a sweet review and for sharing a great time with me. I appreciated your respect for Japanese culture, history, customs, and food. I was happy to share local knowledge with you. I enjoyed the nice garden with light green young leaves. I hope we can meet up again in the future in either the U.S or Japan!! Hugs! Hero

“Fantastic day with Hero in Kyoto”
We had a fantastic day with Hiro in Kyoto. He picked us up at the Kobe port and took us to the train station where we experienced the smooth, fast ride on the bullet train to Kyoto. He showed us many sites, including the Fushimi-inari-taisha Shrine. He was excellent at explaining the history of what we were seeing. He booked lunch for us at a lovely restaurant and also took many pictures which he sent to us. We really enjoyed the day with Hiro and got to see a lot!!

Thank you very much for hiring me this time. I also had good time with you in Kyoto with cherry blossom. I also learned many things from you about Los Angeles. I hope I can visit to your city someday. Then, I will try real tacos. Again, thank you very much. Cheers!

“Kyoto & Osaka Tour”
Hero was our guide in both Kyoto & Osaka. His knowledge of both cities regarding history/temples/shrines is amazing. One of our main reasons for visiting Japan in the Spring was to see the blossom and Hero knew exactly where to go to see it at its best. We were not disappointed. His English is very good indeed and he took us to some amazing restaurants - Hero is a very good chef at Japanese BBQ's :). He is very friendly and easy going we would highly recommend him as your guide. Thank you Hero for making our trip, especially Peter's trip of a lifetime, so very special. Peter & Carol

Thank you for sharing a great time with me. Also, thank you very much for teaching me what good white wine is and how to drink it. It was always a happy ending with white wine and you both. I was impressed by how you respected Japanese customs, nature, and gardens. I was happy that you liked the restaurants that I chose, because it is not that easy to find restaurants with nice wines. I hope we can meet up again in either England or Japan! Cheers and hug! Hero

One day tour From Gion to the Nishiki Market
Kyoto is an ancient city, which used to like be the capital of Japan for 1000 years. There are about 1600 temples and 400 shrines and beautiful gardens. It also has a lot of traditional crafts, such as kimono, fans, Japanese artistic sweets. There are a lot of things to do and experience. First of all I will take you to Gion area.I will take you to Yasaka Shrine and Kenninji Temple. Then let's move to the Nishiki market. and have sushi lunch in the market. Gion is the area of entertainment, where there are many bars and taverns. Some important business and political talks have been conducted. You may run across Maiko and Geiko, Japanese entertainers in kimono. If you want to wear Japanese costume in Gion, I can arrange with extra charge. NIshiki market is the kitchen of the Kyoro, where local people buy their everyday food. Fish stores, vegetable stores, pickles stores and so on. A friend of mine owns a Yuba shop in the market. Yuba is vegan, dairy-free ,gluten free,preserve-free, additive-free and protein rich. You can see the yuba making process.
