Nagasaki Prefectural Air Defense Headquarters Site (Tateyama Air Raid Shelter)
During World War II, this was the center of Nagasaki Prefecture's air defense, and when an air raid warning was issued, prefectural officials gathered here to give command and communicate with each other.
As a result, when the atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, information was gathered here and communicated to the national government and each local government in the prefecture.
Suwa-jinja Shrine
Suwa-jinja Shrine is a major Shinto shrine in Nagasaki, offering a peaceful retreat with beautiful views of the city from its grounds.

Fish and seafood restaurant or Wagyu Yakiniku (Japanese barbecue) restaurant; There are some options depending on the progress of our itinerary. Please note that reservations one of the restaurants are not required, so there may be a waiting time. There is also a restaurant offering a full-course tofu meal for vegetarian guests (reservations required).

Atomic Bomb Museum
It is one of the most famous tourist spots in Nagasaki. I hope that it will be an opportunity to think about how to live in the future by looking at an important and tragic part of history.

Passing point of Peace Park. You can watch the site of the cathedral wall which was victimized. Entrance fees are free.
Peace Park
Nagasaki Peace Park commemorates the 1945 atomic bombing, symbolizing hope and resilience. The park features the iconic Peace Statue, a solemn reminder of the past and a wish for a peaceful future. Nearby, the Fountain of Peace honors victims, while tranquil pathways invite reflection on history and harmony.

Oura Church
Oura Church, Japan's oldest Christian church, stands as a testament to Nagasaki's deep Christian heritage. Built in the 19th century, the church’s stunning Gothic architecture and serene atmosphere make it a symbol of faith and resilience, reflecting the city's rich history.
