Asuka, the ancient political center, has been preserved. Not only historical structure such as Asuka dera, the oldest temple in Japan and "Ishibutai", mysterious huge stone tomb, but also tranquil village landscape must leave deep impression on you. "Tanada", terraced rice field, mountains and streams, old village houses will surely energize busy modern people. In the afternoon, we will explore the beautiful village, experience traditional Japanese natural dyeing,and visit the farmers' market.

Tour Important Information
Natural dying experience costs you 1,500 JPY or 2500 JPY per person according to the size of the cloth. The price includes green tea and hand-made local sweets served after the experience.
If it is fine, we can rent e-bikes. In caseit rains, we will take bus, or take a taxi if necessary.

“Amazing 4 hour Kyoto Tour”
We absolutely loved our Kyoto tour with Michiko - this was truly one of our highlights during our Japan trip so far. We learned a lot from her profound knowledge and very much enjoyed her kind company. The tour was also perfect for our 1 year old daughter as Michiko was very thoughtful, considered all our wishes and picked the perfect spots for us. “Wonderful day around Osaka”

It was a great day - got to visit a shrine and temple in Nara, had lunch then went for a fantastic private tour of a local tea farm, hosted by the farmer/owner. The day was long, but a great experience.

Nara area used to be a Capital of Japan for 80 years (Heijyoukyou;A.D.708-810).After transferring the Capital to Kyoto, Nara was remained as a center of Buddhism. Although many temples remained such as Todaiji and Kohukuji, many other temples have been established but abolished in its long history, then only stone Buddha images are remained as an evident of the history.
