Meeting Point
Takashimaya Osaka, 5 Chome-1-5 Namba, Chuo Ward, Osaka
- Meet in front of the main entrance of Osaka Takashimaya, directly beside Nankai Namba Station. I will send a detailed meeting-point photo before the tour.
Hozenji Yokocho & Ura-Namba Night Streets
Begin with the lantern-lit lanes of Hozenji Yokocho, then move beyond the busiest part of Dotonbori into Ura-Namba’s narrower food streets. Learn how to recognize izakayas, standing bars, and the small local places where Osaka residents start their night.
Stop 1: Local Izakaya — 2 Dishes & 1 Drink
Start at a relaxed local izakaya. Enjoy two tasting dishes chosen for the group and one standard drink per guest. The menu may include seasonal small plates, sashimi, grilled food, or another Osaka favorite. Learn a simple ordering phrase and how shared dishes work in Japan.
Stop 2: Tachinomi — 2 Dishes & 1 Drink
Continue to a lively tachinomi, or standing bar, for two more tasting dishes and one standard drink per guest. Try an Osaka comfort food such as oden, doteyaki, skewers, or a seasonal equivalent while learning the relaxed etiquette of this everyday drinking style.
Stop 3: Neighborhood Bar — 1 Dish & 1 Drink
Finish at a contrasting small bar or izakaya with one pairing dish and one standard drink per guest. Choose from the venue’s included selection, such as sake, beer, a highball, or a non-alcoholic option, and enjoy relaxed local conversation to close the evening.
Night Stroll, Photos & Local Recommendations
End with a short night stroll through Ura-Namba. Take final photos and receive personalized recommendations based on the five dishes, three drinks, and atmosphere you enjoyed, so you can continue exploring Osaka with confidence.

* Please share all allergies, dietary restrictions, disliked foods, and drink preferences before the tour.
* All food and drinks are included in the tour price. The first stop is a sit-down meal with a set selection of dishes, the second stop is one signature dish, and one drink of your choice is included at each stop.
* Additional dishes and drinks beyond what is included can be ordered and paid to the restaurant directly.
* Dishes are selected on the day from each restaurant's menu, so specific dishes cannot be guaranteed in advance. This is a relaxed local dinner rather than a luxury course. If you are hoping for premium sushi or wagyu beef, please contact me before booking.
* Vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, and other requests may be possible, but choices at small local restaurants are limited. Vegan guests must confirm whether fish stock, eggs, and dairy products are acceptable.
* Alcohol is available only to guests aged 20 or older. A non-alcoholic version is available at the same price.
* The tour includes approximately 2 km of walking on mostly flat streets. Please wear comfortable shoes.
* Restaurants may change because of closing days, full occupancy, seasonal menus, or dietary needs. The Namba route and two-stop structure will remain consistent.
* Some traditional venues may permit smoking. Please request non-smoking venues before booking.
* The tour operates in light rain. Please bring an umbrella when rain is forecast.
* Groups of five or more require prior consultation.
