Mount Omuro is located on the east side of the Izu Peninsula. It is similar to Mount Fuji in that both are cone-shaped and look like a wonderful hill that only appears in paintings. Mount Omuro, with an elevation of 580 meters, is formed by the accumulation of debris after volcanic eruption and is a representative of Japan's volcanic rubble hills.
