Meiji Jingu Shrine

Meiji Jingu is a large shrine located in the center of Tokyo, Japan. It was built in 1912 to commemorate Emperor Meiji. This shrine has spectacular architecture and vast gardens, and is one of the important symbols of Japanese culture and religion.

The architectural style of Meiji Jingu is a combination of traditional Japanese architecture and Western architecture, and has high artistic value. The palace-style building complex is centered on the large torii, and various buildings such as the main hall, side halls, warehouses, etc. are distributed on the left and right sides. These buildings are built with high-grade wood and exquisite stone, and the roofs are covered with green tiles, giving people a sense of tranquility and solemnity.

In addition to the architecture, the garden of Meiji Jingu is also a highlight. The garden design of the shrine is full of natural beauty. The dense trees, clear ponds, exquisite bridges and stone steps all show the essence of traditional Japanese garden art. Walking in the garden of Meiji Jingu, people can feel the harmonious coexistence of nature and human civilization.

In addition, Meiji Jingu is also one of the centers of faith for the Japanese people. Every year, a large number of tourists and believers come to worship and pray for peace, happiness and health. At Meiji Jingu, people can participate in various festivals and learn about Japanese culture and traditions.

Shibuya Sky

‌Shibuya Sky‌, an observation deck located on the top floor of Scramble Square in Shibuya, Tokyo, is one of the largest open-air observation decks in Japan. It opened in 2019 and offers a 360-degree fully transparent glass design. The top floor is fully open-air, offering a magnificent view of Tokyo‌.

The best viewing time is at sunset, when you can see the daytime, sunset, and night views at the same time, but tickets are tight at this time and need to be booked quickly. There is no time limit for the observation deck, but it does not seem crowded due to the flow of people and the large space, but it is recommended to shoot in the corner to avoid queuing.

Shibuya Sky is located in Shibuya, surrounded by multiple shopping and dining options. Shibuya Scramble Square downstairs also offers a wealth of shopping and dining options, suitable for tourists to rest and shop after the tour‌. In addition, Shibuya Sky offers multiple areas, including the Sky Gate, Sky Gallery, and Sky Stage, where visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Tokyo and experience creative digital art displays‌.

Ending Point

At your designated point within Tokyo 23 wards or the departure lobby entrance of Haneda airport

Best way to see Japan - Private Day Tour with Stanley trips!

Best Way to See Japan – Private Day Tour with Stanley Trips! If you’re visiting Japan and debating between public transportation and a private tour, let me make the decision easy for you: book Stanley Trips and don’t look back. We did a nine-hour customized private day tour with them, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our entire trip. Our group of six piled into a spacious, comfortable van and our driver took us exactly where we wanted to go — on our schedule, at our pace, with zero stress. No navigating crowded trains with heavy bags. No standing in long lines. No sore feet from hauling yourselves between stations. Just a relaxed, enjoyable day seeing everything we wanted to see with a highly professional driver who made the whole experience effortless. The fact that it was fully customized made all the difference — this wasn’t a cookie-cutter bus tour with stops you didn’t ask for. It was our itinerary, our way. For a group, a private van tour is absolutely worth every yen — and your feet will thank you at the end of the day! Whether you need airport transportation or a full day of exploring, Stanley Trips delivers every single time. We used them multiple times during our trip and they were consistently excellent. Highly, highly recommend!

Exceptional Airport Transportation– highly recommend!

After a long international flight into Narita Airport, the last thing you want is to stress about getting six people and all their luggage to the hotel. Stanley Trips took care of everything seamlessly. They were waiting for us upon arrival with a spacious, comfortable van that fit our entire group of six along with all of our bags — not a tight squeeze in sight. The professionalism was top-notch from start to finish. The ride to our hotel in Tokyo was smooth, comfortable, and completely stress-free — exactly what you need after a long-haul flight. We used them again for our return trip to Narita on June 4th, and they delivered the same outstanding service. We actually had more luggage on the way back (as tends to happen after a trip to Japan!), and once again, the van handled it all without a problem. If you’re traveling to Tokyo and need reliable, professional airport transportation — especially for a larger group — look no further than Stanley Trips. I’d also highly recommend them for tours. We will absolutely be using them again on our next visit. Mahalo, Stanley Trips — you made our trip so much easier!

An Unforgettable Day in Kamakura – ask for Kaku!

We booked the private nine-hour Kamakura Customized Day Tour through Stanley Trip Japan via GoWithGuide, and it was one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip. Our guide/driver Kaku was wonderful — professional, knowledgeable, and a genuine pleasure to spend the day with. Kamakura is such a magical destination, and having a full private day to explore it at our own pace made all the difference. We visited the iconic Great Buddha, which was truly awe-inspiring and exceeded all expectations, strolled through the beautiful Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, and made our way out to the charming island of Enoshima. Kaku guided us seamlessly through all of it, making sure our group of six could take everything in without feeling rushed. If you’re considering a day trip to Kamakura, don’t hesitate — this tour is absolutely worth it. And if you’re lucky enough to have Kokua as your guide, you’re in for a treat. Highly recommend Stanley Trip Japan for anyone visiting the Tokyo area!
