Shinjuku Station East exit

- We will meet in front of the famous 3D Cat Screen in Shinjuku, located at the east exit of Shinjuku Station. The giant curved screen above the Cross Shinjuku Vision building shows a large 3D cat — you can’t miss it. Please arrive 5 minutes early and look for me holding a friendly smile and ready to explore!

We’ll walk through the nostalgic alleyways of Omoide Yokocho, famous for its tiny yakitori bars, lantern-lit paths, and old Tokyo charm. You’ll learn about the history of this legendary street and its post-war roots, while enjoying the unique atmosphere and daily life of locals. A perfect place to feel the warm and traditional side of Shinjuku before exploring the neon lights.

Next, we’ll wander through the legendary Golden Gai — a charming maze of tiny bars, each with its own unique personality and story.
