Takoyaki is one of typical Japanese cuisines, which are small fried balls made from flour. We will make small fried balls with Takoyaki machine and put octopus into them normally.
In the tour, guests can make Takoyaki being instructed by a guide.
Before making them, we will go to a grocery shop with a guide and choose what guests like to put into Takoyaki.
When it is ready, the guide show you how to make Takoyaki, then try to make them by yourselves!

Meeting Point
South exit of Takaoka station
- The guide will pick you up at the bottom of the escalator at the south exit.
Local supermarket
We will go to a grocery shop to buy ingredients to put into Takoyaki. Going there with the guide, so guests can ask questions about Japanese food. For basic Takoyaki, Japanese people use octopus. In the tour, guests can choose any ingredients they like to put into Takoyaki.
A kitchen space in a house
We will prepare for making Takoyaki in a house. We need to cut ingredients.

“Tateyama Alpine Route”

Takaoka driving around Mt. Futagami, a local mountain
Mt. Futagami is located at the west of Toyama area. It is the 274m high mountain. There is abundant nature in the mountain. It is familiar with locals. People from the region often walk, run, and hike around the mountain for having their relaxing time. There are some attractive sites like a huge statue of goddess of mercy, observatory which can look over the scenery of the town and the sea, and a huge bell.

Toyama e-bike cycling
Toyama has abundant nature such as mountains and the Toyama bay. Usually, tourists cannot access to the suburb on their trip. So this tour offers cycling to the suburb area around local mountain area and the vast paddy field. Guests can access off the beaten pass by e-bike, which can easily cycle.

Takaoka 4km-hiking at Mt. Futagami
Mt. Futagami is located at the west of Toyama. It is a 274m high mountain. In the tour, we will hike the gentle slope on the mountain. Walking about 2km, we will climb up until the summit of Mt. Futagami. The elevation different is about 200m from the bottom to the top. Guests can feel comfortable in the nature of the mountain. On the way, guests can look over the view of Takaoka city.
