Sakeien Garden (entrance and parking fee included)
Sankeien Garden is declared 'Place of Scenic Beuaty by Japan government. It was created by silk tycoon Zenzaburo Hara in early 19th century. The landmark of this beautiful garden is the Three Story Pagoda built in Kyoto in 1457. There are many traditional wooden Japanese architectures, streams & ponds, four season flora, birds and fish to compliment this massive panoramic Japanese garden.
The Diplomat’s House on Yamate Hill (parking fee included)
The Diplomat’s House" with Victorian design architecture & water fountain in its inner garden was built in Shibuya, Tokyo in 1910, shifted to Yamate hill in 1997. The former owner Mr. Uchida, was an overseas based Japanese diplomat. This beautiful mansion with its garden of roses was built by an American architect, James McDonald Gardiner.
Ehrismann Residence (parking fee included)
Ehrismann Residence was built in 1925~1926 for Fritz Ehrismann, a Swiss merchant, The architect who designed this charming house was a Czech-American, Antonin Raymond. Raymond was a brilliant architect as his idea was the fusion of Japanese and western design elements at the time he designed Ehrismann’s home. After touring this elegant house, you can take a light lunch or cake & tea on the first floor. The view from the window seats facing the beautiful garden of Motomachi Koen Park is simply breathtaking.
Yokohama Chinatown (parking fee included)
With more than 620 shops from Chinese restaurants, streets food to souvenirs, its vibrant colorful decorations, everyone will be delighted here. The delicious appetizing Chinese food., Hong Kong style Cantonese restaurant will be introduced to you. The visit to the magnificent Chinese architecture Mazu Temple, the goddess of the sea will protect travelers for safely return to their countries.
Nihon Odori (parking fee included)
Nihon Odori was designed by British engineer R.H. Brunton, who contributed greatly to the urban development of Yokohama during the Meiji period. It was the first Western-style street in Japan, It was completed in 1879. Important historical buildings such as Kanagawa Prefectural Office, the former British Consulate General (Yokohama Port Opening Museum) are situated here. The avenue of ginkgo trees & seasonal flower planted both side of the pedestrian are serene landscape not to be missed. One can sit & relax to have a drink by observing people walking their dogs along Nihon Odori.
Red Brick Warehouse (parking fee included)
The Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Building No. 2 was constructed in 1911, and the current Building No. 1 was erected in 1913 for custom warehouses. Now they have become a shopping mall with various themes restaurants , banquet hall, and event venues. These two buildings are on the scenic shores of Yokohama Port where ships dock.
