“Two and a half days tour in takayama, shirakawago, shinhotaka ropeway and hirayu onsen”

We went as a group of four and Tetsuji-san guided us over 2.5 days. He was very informative and shared many interesting stories surrounding the history and culture of the city and gifu prefecture, and brought us to locations we typically wouldn't have discovered by ourselves. We were under prepared for the thick snow that covered shirakawago and he ensured we bought snow boots prior to the day trip. The restaurants he brought us to were excellent as well, with dishes unique to the region. The pacing of the tour was just nice for us as well with 2 seniors in the group. In all, an extremely enjoyable trip to takayama, shirakawago, shinhotaka ropeway and hirayu onsen! Thanks Tetsuji-san!

I honestly am relieved to hear that you are well satisfied with my tour. I have been concerned about the changeable weather for three days. On the third day, although we didn't go up to the peak of the high mountain because of strong wind, you seemed to have enjoyed with hot spa and nice lunch. I also enjoyed myself bathing outdoor with your father. Actually, this is the first time for me to communicate with guests in the bathtubs. I hope to see you again someday.

“Walking tour of Gujo Hashiman in 3 hours”

I feel like Akiko became a friend helping us plan a short 3 hour walking tour of Gujo Hashiman. She listened to our interests and provided interesting history and knowledge of a town known for its pure water and Oban celebration. She met us at the bus station and made sure we visited all the highlights in a short amount of time. Akiko is so accomodating and listened to our needs. She is a delight and made this visit one of the highlights of our visit to Japan.

“Tour of the Sekigahara battlefield and museum from Nagoya”

We had a truly wonderful day with Michiko on our recent holiday to Japan. From the point of pick up at our hotel in Nagoya to our return their that evening everything ran smoothly. Michiko was so knowledgeable about this period of history which was just what we wanted. She was such an enjoyable companion that day and we had so many laughs together. The battlefield and museum are well worth visiting. The museum has some fabulous displays of Samurai armour and artefacts and there is a really good cafe there too. The battlefield site is easily accessible - we hired electric bikes from the museum. Thank you Michiko for giving us such a great day!
