We loved our day with Yoji. He covered all the highlights without making us feel rushed. His local knowledge of Kanazawa, coupled with his education and business knowledge from aboard helped make conversation very enjoyable and extensive. He provided insights that we could not have gleaned on our own or through guide books or videos or instagram. If you have limited time in Kanazawa, book time with Yoji. You will be very happy with your choice! Oh, and he had a lot of restaurant recommendations. Be sure to book restaurants in advance bc reservations are really needed during busy season.

“Kanazawa highlights”

We had a great full day seeing the sights of Kanazawa. Lee knew all the short cuts at the various locations, saving us steps and time. He was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. It was hard to keep up, but he said it would make sense by the end of the day and it did. We would highly recommend Lee for any tour in Kanazawa.

“The most delightful day!”

I'm so pleased that we were able to book a tour of Kanazawa with Yukari san. The visit felt effortless and joyful under her guidance. Our itinerary was personalized for our needs (time, interest, activity level, weather) and she had so much insightful information to share about each place we visited. We have enjoyed many tours over the years, but spending time with Yukari stood out among them. The visit to Kanazawa felt like a day out with a good friend in possession of a knack for being a generous host. Yukari is considerate and well versed in local history, craftsmanship, and delicious food. We highly recommend her to anyone considering a guide.
