As part of a collaboration with Eiichiro Oda, author of ONE PIECE born and raised in Kumamoto City, a total of 10 statues of the Straw Hat Pirates of ONE PIECE have been installed throughout Kumamoto Prefecture. The One Piece statues are part of a larger project to help Kumamoto recover after the 2016 earthquakes and are being built thanks to the cooperation of and extremely generous donation from Mr. Oda.

“Punctual, Helpful, and Highly Recommended!”
Mr. Otsuka was a wonderful and kind driver. Although he doesn’t speak English, we easily communicated through a translator, and he always did his best to share information about the sites we visited. He was punctual with pick-up and drop-off at the port, and even walked with us to the entrance of each site to ensure we didn’t get lost. He kindly offered to take family photos and even managed to fit in a delicious ramen lunch stop for us. Highly recommended!

“Excellent tour ”
Despite the heavy rain the day before, which caused parts of the highway to be closed, the driver quickly arranged an alternative route and still made sure we could visit Kumamoto Castle. I was very impressed with his professionalism and care. What made the trip even more special was the sushi restaurant he recommended — it turned out to be a real hidden gem and absolutely delicious. Thanks to his thoughtful guidance, the whole experience was smooth and very satisfying.
