While working as a server at a sushi restaurant, I had many opportunities to interact with guests who loved Japan, while also learning about Canadian culture from them. Tokyo is a world-famous metropolis, but beyond its well-known landmarks, it is full of hidden gems that are less crowded and waiting to be discovered. “Hidden gems with the perfect guide”
Nobu was excellent from start to finish. He drove and guided us through a full day — we never could have pulled it off on our own. He’s knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely curious about what his guests are curious about. He handled all logistics and communication with the sites, and adjusted the pace to our group. If you have a niche interest — infrastructure, industrial heritage, off-the-beaten-path Japan — Nobu is exactly the guide you want. One of the highlights of our whole trip. Highly recommend.
